Your bathroom is about to look as good as you getting ready in it.

We hope you love the products we recommend! All of them were independently selected by our editors. Just so you know, BuzzFeed may collect a share of sales or other compensation from the links on this page if you decide to shop from them. Oh, and FYI — prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication.

    1. Restore stained grout on your tiled floors and walls with a grout pen that's mold-resistant and covers up to 60 meters of grout area.

Just a note, this does take some elbow grease and time to actually do (one of my colleagues did it to her bathroom and it took her a few hours) but in comparison to actually regrouting your whole floor — this is a total time-saver.

Promising review: "I have 12-inch white tile in my whole house that is 20 years old. Even though I have kept it looking nice, the grout still was getting dark. I cleaned the grout and let it dry good 'til the next day then used the grout pen. It looks like it is brand-new. One thing that I found out was that if the tip of the pen starts to look worn you can just pull it out and turn it over — it is the same tip on both ends. It will take some time to do the whole house but it looks so great that I will just do a section at a time 'til I finish. One other thing that I did was run my finger down the grout line after I apply the grout pen then wipe down the tile line with a paper towel so no other cleanup was necessary." —Amazon Customer

    2. If your tub could use a little refresh try Oh Yuk Jetted Tub Cleaner — it'll clean out all the gunk from your bathtub jets so that when you choose to marinate in your own juices, the pot you're doing it in is totally clean.,

Promising review: "This stuff is great! We just bought a house and my hubby cleaned the jetted tub twice with a strong Clorox solution. I bought this product based on the reviews and tried it after. Look at the crud that came out of the jets. Now our tub is all sparkly and clean! 😊" —Rebecca J Huges

Get it from Amazon for $16.99.

    3. Reseal all those unsightly cracks in your tub and tile by filling them up with caulk sealant to help make your bathroom look new again.

A person placing the sealant on a sink

Promising review: "I'm a newbie when it comes to home improvement and I wasn't sure how to caulk my tub but I watched YouTube videos and thought I could figure it out. I scraped off all the old caulk with a utility knife/scraper (this took about two hours because I had multiple levels of caulk). I added painter's blue tape to create a line so that after caulking I would just remove the blue tape without an issue (similar to painting). Then I proceeded to use this caulk. No gun needed. Just open and squeeze. I used my wet finger to press down to make sure it is completely in. Immediately after, I removed the blue painter's tape and waited 72 hours until it was dry. Then I applied the Sashco Sealants Clear Lexel Adhesive Caulk, I added this because I wanted an extra level of protection. This is clear and you cannot see the mess at all so I didn't use the painter's blue tape. I waited another 72 hours. It all worked out beautifully and now my tub has perfectly white edges all around. It has held up very well. I did this about four months ago." —Rose S

    4. Add privacy and a touch of elegance with "leaded-glass" film that'll make your windows and glass doors look super expensive while making sure your neighbors don't get a peep show.

A customer review photo of their bathroom window with the film installed

    Window film is available in 17.5'' x 78.7'', 17.5'' x157.4, 23.6'' x 118.1'', 35.4'' x 78.7'', 35.4'' x 157.4" sizes and can be trimmed or combined to fit any size window glass.

Promising review: "This film was just what I needed. It provides enough privacy without blocking light. I didn’t have any problems with it not sticking to the window. You just have to make sure the windows are very clean and remember to peel off the backing and spray lots of water before sticking it on the glass!!! I used an old credit card as a squeegee to get rid of the air bubbles. The application was very easy. I highly recommend this product!!!" —Selenable

    5. Try a concentrated-gel mold and mildew cleaner designed to get deep into your crevices and get rid of that ugly (and sometimes dangerous) buildup.

Promising review: "Follow the directions and it will work. On my first attempt I did not make a bead but spread it out thinly (trying to use as little as possible) and it didn’t work. The next time I made a bead and while it took two applications, it finally worked. It was amazing! I have tried for years to get rid of the mold in the caulking. I even replaced the caulking twice, but the mold would come back within a couple of weeks. For the first time in 10 years, the caulking around the top is clean, white, and free from any sign of mold. I tried it on a couple of other troublesome spots in the bathroom and kitchen, with the same results. Finally, a product that works on stubborn mold." —CLAUDE D'ESTREE

    6. Upgrading your shower curtain with a resin-coated fabric shower curtain might be the simplest but most effective way to give your bathroom a fresh look.

The fabric shower curtain hanging around a bathtub.

Promising review: "I have NEVER written a review. EVER. If you are on the fence about it just go ahead and purchase. It’s beautiful and true to the advertised extra-long length. It’s in a bathroom that my four kids use (ages 19, 17, 9, and 7). We use it without a liner and it wicks away water and dries almost instantly. I can tell the material is going to be perfect for frequent washing. If it doesn’t hold up long I will just buy another, that’s how great it is!" —Toyia

Get it from Amazon for $20.99+ (available in five sizes).

    7. And if you want to clear some of the clutter, there's a full curtain with nine pockets in three sizes to fit everything you'd need during shower time.

The mesh pocket shower curtain hanging around a claw foot tub

Promising review: "I LOVE this shower curtain. I have been buying this curtain for the past six years. If you have a shower that doesn’t have a lot of ledge room for all your 'stuff', this shower curtain will be your best friend. You can fit so many things inside the pockets! I honestly only use like four or five of the pockets. You can also use this as a liner and have another more decorative shower curtain on the outside but I personally use it as a shower curtain. I usually change it every six months because it does start getting a little soap scummy on the bottom. The best shower curtain/liner money can buy!" —DAtkins

Get it from Amazon for $17.69.

    8. If your toilet has seen better days, try a 100% natural pumice stone toilet bowl cleaner that'll scrub away any rust or lime buildup on your porcelain throne., Amazon

Promising review: "We rented a home and the toilets were disgusting. Someone suggested a pumice stone and let me tell you, it was amazing!! The picture is after just five minutes with the stone. I tried bleach, every toilet bowl cleaner available, and countless hours of scrubbing to no avail...but this stone worked instantly! I will be buying several more!! The stone does dissolve when scrubbing so you need a couple. I was able to do almost two toilets that looked awful completely with one stone!!" —CristaCross

Get it from Amazon for $11.27.

    9. Make your bathroom feel like a spa with a bundle of fresh eucalyptus to place in your shower and help make your everyday ritual even more relaxing — the steam from your shower or bath helps the soothing fragrance release and fill the air.

The magnetic strip installed in a bathroom drawer

Promising review: "Got this for my wife who, in my mind, walks around the house sprinkling bobby-pins on various floors and surfaces like breadcrumbs. I stuck this on the bathroom mirror and it works great, just as you'd expect it to work. It can even hold up certain plastic hair-clips if they have a metal spring and you stick them on there just right. The glue seems sturdy enough so far." —JPL

Get it from Amazon for $14.99.

    11. Clean up that glass you thought you'd have to replace with a commercial strength hard water stain remover — that shower door that used to be clear and is now frosted with grossness will be back in no time.

A customer review before and after photo showing the results of the hard water stain remover

Promising review: "This stuff is a miracle. My husband and I just bought a house and there is very hard water. It looked like the previous owners never tried to get the hard water off the shower doors and walls. I tried vinegar and Dawn first — it didn't even scratch the surface. I tried Scrubbing Bubbles next and it was the same. I was feeling so defeated. I did some research and bought Bar Keepers Friend. With a grade 0000 steel wool piece, it took me about two hours to clean a quarter of the window in my shower. My arm also felt like it was going to fall off. I was determined, so I researched more. Then, I found this stuff. I was so anxious that I cracked it open minutes after receiving it in the mail. I applied it to my grade 0000 steel wool and started scrubbing away. BINGO! It took me about 15 minutes to clean the same size section as I did with the Bar Keepers Friend. I'm not gonna lie, this stuff needs some elbow grease but it definitely works. It took off what seems like years of hard water stains. It does have a smell to it but it's not super harsh and totally able to withstand. This is going on my 'always available in my house' list! I love this stuff!" —Tyrene A. Gapol

Get it from Amazon for $19.99.

    12. Maybe it's time to replace your old tattered mat with a fluffy machine-washable nonskid bathmat made of the softest microfiber your bare feet will ever step on — and your pupper will ever lay on.,

Prepping your countertops and surrounding surfaces is vital to the success of this project. FOLLOW the INSTRUCTIONS. Applying the minerals takes the longest, as you can add more of any color for the desired look, cover mistakes or make changes using the sponges (included). Take your time and use the color minerals in your kit until you have exactly the look you want. I applied two coats of the glitter topcoat, but, decided to apply epoxy for extra protection and shine. IT WAS WELL WORTH IT! I love the transformation. My sister was so impressed, she purchased a kit to do her bathroom countertops as well." —London M.

They are great quality and many people I know have copied our idea, so they are a hit! Very high quality, the plunger part is always the most important part. These are metal and not plastic, something which seems to be hard to find when looking for dispensers." —Rebecca Morea

Promising review: "Easy to install and it looks great. It isn't made from heavy-duty metal, but I am in a rental and I want something to last while I'm here. I wash my dog super often due to allergy issues with his skin. This helps a TON! No more plastic cup and 10-minute bath for pup and human! I just tested his bath time at two and half minutes 😂. Instructions have a step-by-step guide with diagrams." —Rachel Humphrey

Promising review: "Sharing our nasty before picture so you can really see the difference! Our tub/shower has a grippy bottom, and scum and dirt cakes on there so easily. The only way I've been able to get it off before was literally scraping it inch by inch, I've spent hours and all it ever got was somewhat clean — never enough for me to want to take a real bath in it. This stuff is expensive but with the good reviews, I decided to try it. it works amazingly!! I sprayed it on (it came with a great spray nozzle and a lid) and left it for about 15–20 minutes. Then I took a brush with hard plastic bristles (I believe a soft brush would have even worked) and with less than 20 minutes of scrubbing the entire tub and walls, it was cleaner than when we moved in. The grime and scum almost, like, melted off. It smells pleasant, it's not crazy strong smelling but in an enclosed space I still felt the need to wear a mask while cleaning. The before picture is how the tub has looked forever and normally looks if cleaned with any cleaner/brush. The white spot towards the left with the brush next to it is where I tried a little area first. The second picture is after 20 minutes of work and I'm definitely taking a bath instead of a shower tonight!" —Amazon Customer

    Get it from Amazon $19.88.

The handles are very easy to hold and the black grip seems to be very well made. I may order a second set in case these give out at some point because these have come in really handy for cleaning up many items. These are the best small brushes I have found!" —Rhonda Yedinak

My bathroom grout (white tile/grout) was nasty from the previous owners of the house. About an hour on the floor with this product and the grout looks as good as it ever. Spray it on, give it a minute to soak in, and scrub. You can see the dirt come up immediately. Wipe up with water and done. I'll probably make another pass to get a few spots that I didn't allow to soak in properly, but as you can see it does work well." —M. Smith
