This is Susan Sarandon and her dog Penny. They are clearly best friends, because they do everything together.
Sometimes they go on talk shows together to discuss their best friendship, like when they appeared on The Wendy Williams Show.
And last night they continued this tradition with an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Penny was really chill the entire time, just relaxing with James, Susan, and Adam Brody.
The celebrity people were supposed to be the ones in the spotlight, but Penny was the real star of the show, tbh. Here she is drinking out of Susan's mug:
She even got to sit on Adam Brody's lap.
Just look at them, gazing lovingly into each other's eyes.
I honestly didn't know it was possible to be this jealous of a dog.
