33 Things You Probably Didn't Know About "X Factor" Winner Louisa Johnson

BuzzFeed UK talked to this year's X Factor winner about pizza, pet peeves, and lots and lots of Beyoncé.

It's been less than a week since she became the youngest ever winner of The X Factor, but Louisa Johnson is quickly approaching star status. The 17-year-old stopped by BuzzFeed's London offices this week to promote her winner's single, "Forever Young", and we decided that we'd get to know her a little bit better.

    01. Favourite colour?
    Green! I've always loved green.

    02. Favourite pizza topping?
It's probably ham and pineapple, but I just eat the ham and take the pineapple off. Because I like the juicy bit from the pineapple, but I don't actually like the pineapple.

    03. Dream duet?

    04. What's your go-to shower song?
"Who Run The World"! It's a good shower song.

    05. Last song you listened to?
    Usher, "Yeah".

    06. Last book you read?
I don't really read books, I just listen to music, really. But the last book I read was The Secret – it's like, the law of attraction book. But that was a few months ago.

    07. Last film you watched?
Ted! I watched it last night.

    08. Favourite film genre?
Probably comedy, 'cause I like laughing. I like films that make me laugh.

    09. Favourite comedy?
I really like Just Go With It – it's sort of like a romantic comedy, but it's a really good film.

    10. Cats or dogs?
    Dogs! Definitely.

    11. Signature dance move?
Oooh I don't know, I have loads. I like strutting to Beyoncé.

    12. Pet peeve?
Oh, I hate when you can hear people eating! Like, even when they've got their mouth closed, and you can hear the crunching sound, it makes me cringe.

    13. Twitter or Instagram?

    14. Tea or coffee?
    I don't like either!

    15. Female role model?
You know what, after my whole experience, I'd actually say Rita [Ora]. Because I've got to know her really well, and I've got to know her as a person as well as an artist.

    16. Last song you had stuck in your head?
    Probably my song. [laughs]

    17. Favourite TV show to binge-watch?
I don't really watch TV, but I went through a phase of loving– Remember that show Love Island, that was on in the summer? I loved that. I couldn't stop watching it.

    18. Karaoke song?
    Beyoncé, "Listen".

    19. Can you do any accents?

LJ: My best accent is probably American.

    BF: Do it!

LJ: Oh my god, what do you want me to say?!

Laura, BF Photographer (An American): Say, "I'm going to the grocery store to get a zucchini."

    LJ: *Does American accent.*

    (It's not bad.)

    20. Favourite emoji?

LJ: I use the laughing face a lot. That's probably my favourite.

    I hate spiders. I just… No. I hate them.

    26. Chocolate or strawberry?

    LJ: Strawberry.

    27. Favourite comedian?

LJ: Doc Brown! I love him, he's so funny. Because he makes comedy into rap, as well, which is so cool.

    28. Which past X Factor winner would you most like to duet with?

LJ: It has to be Leona [Lewis]! It has to be, because I've looked up to her for so long.

    29. Christmas or Halloween?

    LJ: Christmas!

    30. Favourite Christmas film?

    LJ: "Silent Night".

    32. Best piece of advice you've ever been given?

LJ: The best advice I've ever been given would be to just focus on yourself, rather than everything around you. Doing that is going to get you further than focusing on what everyone else thinks.

    33. Goals for 2016?

LJ: My goal for 2016 is just to work hard and try and get a good album out. Write some good songs, songs that connect with fans. But the main goal for me is just to get some songs out there that people like listening to.
