Earlier this week, Orlando Bloom hopped onto Instagram to unveil a brand-new tattoo dedicated to his son, Flynn.
"New tattoo," he wrote in the caption. "Can you guess who?"
He went on to explain in a comment that the lines and dots are Morse code spelling out Flynn's name, and the numbers above it are the date and time of his birth.
But while a lot of the comments were praising how cute the tribute is, some people pointed out something a little less adorable. Namely that the Morse code is...not correct.

To be fair, the likelihood of random strangers getting close enough to the tattoo to interpret it themselves is slim, and the likelihood of them knowing Morse code is even slimmer. Maybe Flynn's nickname is Frynn? I don't know! Plus, the thought is still cute.
But regardless, there's a lesson here, and it's to always double-, triple-, and quadruple-check the spelling of your tattoos ~before~ they're inked into your skin forever.
