I hate to break it to you, fellow millennials/Gen Z cuspers, but yesterday marked 13 years since the first episode of Hannah Montana premiered on Disney Channel, and we're all officially old.
But that doesn't mean she's opposed to fondly reminiscing — and she had to recognise this big Hannahversary. She posted this sweet photo on Twitter of a tiny Miley hoppin' on the plane to LAX:
But over on Instagram, it was an entirely different story. First, she posted this photo showing what Hannah's reaction would have been to her performance at the 2013 VMAs.
Then we saw Hannah discovering that there were nipple pasties and an awful lot of weed in her future.
Of course, we know Hannah is a feminist and a strong advocate for gay rights. These aren't childhood-ruining, they're just iconic.
But then, I'm afraid to say, there's this:
I have no words.
It's safe to say my life will never be the same again.
So goodbye to my childhood, and happy 13 years of Hannah Montana!
