In case you didn't know because your life doesn't revolve around celebrity relationships, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik's has been a bit up and down since the beginning of 2018.
But it turns out ~some~ people aren't happy with that version of events. Namely, the people who run the Instagram account @exposingfakeeasszigiii.
The account is dedicated to publishing fan "confessions" about the couple. This week they posted one claiming everything Zayn and Gigi do is "for promo", and pointing out that he doesn't even follow her on Instagram.
But Gigi wasn't having any of it. She posted a lengthy comment asking the account to stop tagging her in their "negative" posts and telling them to "find something else that inspires them in life".
"For someone who is virtually inactive on the app, I don't need his follow," Gigi wrote. "My eyes are tattooed to his chest."
"You guys can call it promo but I just post about my boyfriend like anyone else. Whether I support Z or he supports me is out of love and excitement for one another," she went on.
"There's nothing to figure out all the time... Give it a break," Gigi concluded.
And it looks like Gigi and Zayn had a great time celebrating July 4th together in spite of the post.
