With every new trailer, we've learned a bunch of new info about the film's super-secret plot. Like last time, we got our first glimpse of Nicolas Flamel, and saw what Dumbledore ~really~ sees when he looks into the Mirror of Erised.
And the third trailer contains even more information — and even more references to our beloved Harry Potter series — than ever before.
Like, for example, when new character, so far the mysteriously named Maledictus, turns into a snake. I wouldn't say that's normal, but this is the wizarding world, so whatever, right?
WRONG. BECAUSE THE SNAKE ONLY APPEARED AFTER CREDENCE (WHO'S IN A CAGE FOR SOME REASON) SAYS THIS:
Oh, and if the turning-into-a-snake-and-being-called-Nagini thing wasn't enough evidence for you, J.K. Rowling herself all but confirmed the theory on Twitter, saying she's been holding onto the secret for 20 whole years.
Meanwhile, Dumbledore isn't just seeing Grindelwald in the Mirror of Erised — he's seeing a young version of himself with a young version of Grindelwald, played by Jamie Campbell Bower who, of course, appeared very briefly as young Grindelwald in the Harry Potter series.
And Queen J.K. herself confirmed we'll be seeing more of the dynamic between Dumbledore and Grindelwald in the series' upcoming films.
We also see more of Newt's interactions with Jude Law as Dumbledore, who's asking him to carry out a very important task.
And we get a small hint of what could be the moment Newt and Tina are finally reunited.
