I saw him at Playhouse Square last year and at Kent a few months ago, and I’ve watched his stand-up specials countless times. This sounds corny, but he actually got me through a lot of rough patches in the last year. His stand-ups could always improve my mood, without fail, and I needed that more than anything. I can’t believe this thing born out of a preteen fangirl-level obsession blew up, but I hope John appreciates it."
