It all started yesterday when besties Ari and Vic tweeted these two seemingly innocent videos:

And us certified stans™ were like, "No way, we're not getting new Ariana music THIS SOON!"
We thought it was too good to be true, even WHEN Ariana said she was telling the truth:

The song ~ultimately~ is about how neither Ari nor Victoria are gonna worry about boys — or girls! — because they're gonna be too focused on "collect[ing] [their goals] like Monopoly."
I stan a bop about keeping friends and collecting checks.
