Earlier this week, Anne Hathaway and Stanley Tucci hopped on a Zoom call with BuzzFeed to discuss their current project, The Witches, as well as their past project, The Devil Wears Prada. It was an honor and a privilege to be a mere fly on the wall as Anne and Stan reunited once again to share their favorite moments from their joint projects. Here's everything we learned:

[Side note, there are ~mild~ spoilers for The Witches below.]

THEN — What is your favorite scene from The Devil Wears Prada?
Meryl Streep waiting in an elevator in The Devil Wears Prada

Anne Hathaway: I'm not going to be able to [choose] a favorite scene from Devil Wears Prada because it's just this lightening-in-a-bottle movie, where you have Meryl Streep, Stanley Tucci, the revelation that is Emily Blunt...and I got to be there with the best clothes ever...so it's really hard to have a favorite because when I say it's Emily in the hospital or, then I think, no, no, no, it's when Nigel realizes he's going to be able to go to Paris and actually see Paris, but then it's when Miranda is sitting in her hotel room without her makeup on...the truth is, I was the fly on the wall...and I got to watch actors do amazing things. I just loved getting to run around New York City in all those outfits because I am a clothes whore [laughs].

Stanley Tucci: I have to say, I love [the] scene — I love so many scenes in that movie — but I love the scene when Miranda is first coming up to the office and everyone sort of panics. We all kept laughing so hard, and David [Frankel, the director] kept throwing out lines for me to say and "Gird your loins" was the one that made it in. But, I really love the scene when you come in and ask me for advice. It's really a beautifully written script.

    Three rats in The Witches

NOW — What is your favorite scene from The Witches?

    AH:
I hope this isn't a spoiler, but it's when all the witches transform into rats and they're all popping up from the table — that was so much fun to film.

ST: My favorite scene from The Witches was the garlic scene when Annie mispronounces "garlic," or, what she believes is pronouncing it correctly. That was my favorite — it still makes me laugh.

THEN — What is your favorite on-set memory from The Devil Wears Prada?

AH: On Devil Wears Prada, we all had so much chemistry, and I think because we were filming in an office, we just all hung out all the time. I just remember, we'd have a topic of the day that we would explore, whether it was Mrs. Doubtfire quotes, you know, [or] we'd spend a whole day trying to think of what the two worst words you could combine were...we came up with the grosses phrase ever...which I'm not going to share [laughs].

Stanley and Octavia Spencer in The Witches

ST: I don't know if it's one specific thing, so much as a general feeling — and that feeling was...joy. A lot of times, you don't feel joy, you just feel tired, but I remember on the last day of filming for The Devil Wears Prada, I didn't want to leave — and that never happens.

NOW — What is your favorite on-set memory from The Witches?

AH: It's always such a pleasure when you discover a friend on set — like, learning who Octavia Spencer is in real life (a riot) and working with Stanley again.

THEN — What is your favorite outfit from The Devil Wears Prada?

Anne and Stanley at a party in The Devil Wears Prada

AH: More like my Top 10 [favorites]. But I wore this emerald green taffeta Louis Vuitton dress, with this black cape wrap, and these short gloves. I actually wore it in a scene with Stanley, when he gets his heart broken and it was so beautifully acted.

ST: There was something about that plaid suit with the white shirt and the big collar...you know, my late wife said to me, "Well, that wasn't much of a stretch, was it?"

NOW — What is your favorite outfit from The Witches?

Anne wearing a one-shouldered dress with long gloves in The Witches

AH: My favorite outfit is the purple snake dress — I have a sentimental reason for that, and it's because my son named the snake on the dress. The snake is called Snix the Snake.

ST: Joanna Johnson [the costume designer] is someone I've worked with before...and she had my suit made for me. I'm a sucker for bespoke.

THEN — What is your favorite line from The Devil Wears Prada?

AH: "You know what just kills me, is the clothes you are going to get. I mean, you don't deserve them, you eat carbs for Christ's sake. CARBS! It's so unfair!"
    ST:
When Miranda said, "Go ahead. Take a chance. Hire the smart, fat girl."
    Both: "Gird your loins."

NOW — What is your favorite line from The Witches?
AH: "What a cute little mouse." I felt like a Looney Tunes character.
    ST: [Laughs]. "Garlic."
