In her mother's new book, Raising Trump, Ivanka Trump gets real about what she describes as her "punk phase" and how her mom did not like it at all.
"During my punk phase in the nineties, I was really into Nirvana. My wardrobe consisted of ripped corduroy jeans and flannel shirts. One day after school, I dyed my hair blue," Trump wrote.
Obviously the internet wasn't buying this punk phase for a second, and it didn't take long for the tweets to start rolling in.
Of course there were some lyric jokes to be made.
And the debate over how punk she really was got heated really fast.
Where would Ivanka even go to listen to punk music and yell about how her parents don't understand her?
Maybe she got too close to other punks and assumed that meant she, too, was now punk.
Does the phrase "ripped corduroy jeans and flannel shirts" ring any bells?
Golly gee, have you ever seen such punk attire?
Is it just me or does punk Ivanka Trump look just like Avril Lavigne?
Imagine how pissed punk Ivanka would be if she knew her dad would become president one day.
Never mind the bollocks, Ivanka, I'm sure you were very punk indeed.
