Having to kill other people is not the same as joining the military. I personally know a lot of people who have benefited greatly from the GI Bill and you know how many of them have ever killed anyone? None. Not any of them. You don't even have to be in a combat unit. As for targeting…Â
I find that really odd. I'd like to know exactly where that happened. I went to five different public schools, my kids have gone to four separate public schools and we've never heard of having to pay for textbooks. In fact, my kids don't even have textbooks anymore.
I stopped reading when the GI Bill was posted as a dystopian sign. Serving your country while earning skills and an education while also getting paid to do so is pretty amazing. Also, btw, service is compulsory in more than 50 countries, including nordic countries that are often pointed…Â
If you grew up in the 80s you would understand a couple of these things. First of all, no, our parents weren't around or involved at all. At all. The type of parenting that exists now is a direct reaction to the no parenting of the 80s. My kids are also having difficulty believing…Â
I hardcore disagree about The Office. I loved it all the way through but to me the best seasons were the last ones. If NBC offered a spin-off where Robert California, Clark and Plop went on a road trip together it would be my new #1.
You can't know what a job is *really* like until you've worked in that job yourself. It's presumptuous and gross to think you know what someone else's job is if you haven't done it yourself. Even if you have, no two peoples' experiences are the same.
I had a boss who was very hardcore about us being at our desks, working every minute we were scheduled. If we arrived on time, we were late because we were supposed to be working at 8 AM, not arriving at 8 AM. She left early almost every day but she would call at 5 PM to make sure…Â
Who are these people who have time to even care what someone else is wearing on their wedding day? I am glad to say that I've never been to a wedding, esp. my own, where the bride so much as paid attention to what someone else is wearing.
I agree. I don't care for biopics so I prob wouldn't watch any of them but I'm looking at this like, Cardi B had to overcome a lot to get to where she is, so a biopic would have some meat to it. Meanwhile Gaga, as amazing and talented as she is, pretty much just had to overcome having…Â
I do have comments. So many comments. I don't even know where to start.
First, how is it that you weren't doing all of that already? Most people who are struggling aren't worried about beauty services and eyelashes so much as how do I afford to eat?
Boomers are regularly dragged…Â
