A Waitress On TikTok Showed How A Group Of Boomers Left Their Table Vs. A Group Of Gen Z’ers

Well, well, well. What do we have here?

As we all know, there's an ongoing feud between millennials/Gen Z'ers and baby boomers. The younger generations think boomers are closed-minded and out of touch.

And boomers think millennials/Gen Z'ers are lazy and entitled.

I recently stumbled upon a TikTok that might just settle this age-old (okay, fine, yearlong) dispute once and for all. When 18-year-old Kaitlyn Brande was working as a restaurant server, she noticed a stark contrast between how a group of boomers left their table vs. a group of Gen Z'ers:

“They get paid to do that” VS “we know restaurant life is hard, here, let us help you out”

As you can see, the boomers left their table a total mess, while the Gen Z'ers stacked their plates and consolidated their trash — making Brande's job A LOT easier.

"I posted it because I thought it was ironic since older people always expect respect," Brande told BuzzFeed.

"I'm not saying I expect people to ever stack their plates like that, because hey, I'm a person too. I want to go out and eat and not worry about the dishes or anything. All I'm saying is it was cool and helpful of the younger people, and I appreciated it," she said.

Thanks for sharing this enlightening moment, Kaitlyn!
