Listen, I'm all for creative expression, but some movies take things a little too far in order to get a rise out of the audience.
And when I say "get a rise out of the audience," I mean make them feel sick to their stomachs — to the point where they never want to watch that scene again.
Maybe that part in There's Something About Mary where Mary unknowingly used Ted's semen as hair gel made you change the channel immediately.
Maybe that scene in Hall Pass where a girl had diarrhea against the wall after she sneezed shocked the crap out of you (pun intended).
Or perhaps the scene in Slumdog Millionaire where Jamal jumped into a pile of poo made you lose your appetite, as well as any interest in watching the rest of the movie.
