Attention Sydneysiders: There's Now A Way For You To Save The Bees By Eating Doughnuts

$1 of your doughnut will go to Save The Bees Australia!

If you live in Sydney, you're probably already a fan of the Redfern doughnut shop: Donut Papi.

And if you've been paying attention, you're probably aware of the bee populations dwindling.

Putting it bluntly: If the bees die out, we die (probably).

Well, luckily for us (and the buzz-minded community) Donut Papi has teamed up with Waimete Honey Co to create the "Save the Bees" doughnut.

Egmont Honey is the parent company of Waimete and they're committed to helping save the bees. They're working to grow their own hive numbers as well as dedicating a percentage of sales to help increase world bee populations.

These doughnuts have a citrus white chocolate glaze that positively melts in your mouth, a honey bullseye, a wattleseed white chocolate honeycomb shard AND a super cute cakey honeybee.

The honey added another layer to the doughnut that somehow made it both sweet and savoury.

The best part is that $1 of every doughnut sold is going to be donated to Save the Bees Australia.
