We hope you love the products we recommend! All of them were independently selected by our editors. Just so you know, BuzzFeed may collect a share of sales or other compensation from the links on this page if you decide to shop from them. Oh, and FYI — prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication.

    1. A hot-pink tutu if your bébé is celebrating a real milestone like their first birthday, golden birthday, or even quinceañera. 💃

    Tutu Joli / Etsy

Tutu Joli is a small — you guessed it — tutu business from Elena Vasdev.

Promising review: "Omgoodness!!! I love this tutu! Prompt delivery, outstanding product! My Doberman pup looks like the princess she is!" —April

Get it from Tutu Joli on Etsy for $13.50+ (originally $15+; available in sizes XS–XXXL and with or without a matching bow and neck pom-pom).

    2. Or a tunnel bed if your little one's love for toys is only surpassed by one other thing: sleep.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "Just got this today and my cat LOVES it! I couldn’t even get it put together before she was running inside of it. I really love the fact that this tunnel isn’t noisy. Its so quiet! It’s made out of fabric and not the loud crinkly plastic stuff most tunnels seem to be made out of. I will never buy another cat tunnel that isn’t covered with fabric. The only downside for me was putting it together. It was hard to get the zippers connected properly with a cat paw swatting me lol. I would recommend putting this together before your cat sees it." —MikaraB

Get it from Amazon for $37.99+ (available in two patterns).

    3. An interactive feather and mouse game that's basically like Whac-A-Mole for your cat. Lucky for them, they don't have to hunt down a carnival or pay $5 a pop to play.

    amazon.com

I bought this after seeing it in a TikTok video and if you have playful cats (or ones who love to attack your feet under the covers while you sleep), there's a good chance they'll love it as much as mine! It comes with a few different attachments and two noise settings — one for no noise (but be warned it isn't silent — it still makes a whirring mechanical noise) and one for chirping. My cats like to cheat by putting their paws into the holes and wrestling it out but it's held up well and they haven't broken it thus far!

PSA: It takes four C batteries which don't come included so make sure you buy those, too! (I got these Amazon Basics ones and they've worked well.)

Promising review: "I have a cat who is quite particular about the toys he plays with. Barely anything grabs his attention. I saw a commercial for this and then found it on Amazon. All I can say is, finally! I've finally found something that my cat is interested in! At first he was curious and watched it before deciding to pounce on it. I've noticed other reviewers stating the item they received is too fast. I didn't have that issue at all and the speed was actually perfect. My cat loves the feather attachment. I can't wait to try out the mouse attachment next." —Anthony

Get it from Amazon for $18.78+ (available in two styles).

    4. A completely unnecessary but oh so fun sling so you can carry your cat around like the needy lil' baby they are.

    Amazon

My cat Clementine simply cannot cope when I have to work during the week. If I'm on my desktop, she's in my lap, and if I'm on my laptop, she tries to lay on top of my keyboard. With this little sling, I can keep her in my lap comfortably and she's not in the way. I've never brought her outside in it, but it does also have a little clip that can attach to a collar and lots of reviewers mention using it to transport their kitty to the vet!

Promising review: "I initially bought this for my Pomeranian, and yes I do use it for him since he prefers to be carried in crowded/noisy places (aka pet stores), however...just for fun I decided to see if one of my cats would get in it. To my surprise, one of them LOVES it. Whenever my Pom and cat see me pick up the sling, they both run to get put in it. I don't actually take my cat anywhere with it (other than out to the mailbox), but he loves hanging out in there while I do stuff around the house. The sling does a good job of supporting their weight without putting a strain on my back. Excellent value for the money!" —mandi s.

Get it from Amazon for $15.95 (available in three reversible colors).

    5. A chicken-flavored nylon antler that your pup will enjoy just as much as the real thing (it has ridges that massage their gums!), but even better — you won't have to worry about them swallowing any splintered shards that could wreak havoc on their digestive system.

Promising review: "This tag is SO cute! I was looking for a tag option with a little more personality and this fit the bill perfectly. Overall an extremely pleasant experience and I’m so pleased with the results!" —Rachel

Get it from Baubles Dogs on Etsy for $23.50+ (available in sizes S–L and with personalization).

    8. A "Woof Clicquot" plushie for the pup with champagne tastes. If you're working on a beer budget, you'll also be happy to know it's only ~15 bucks.

    amazon.com, Amazon

Promising review: "This toy is DA BOMB! Sooo cute and chic! My pooch loves it! She favors this toy over others. She is a tiny pup (3 pounds) and this toy is small enough for her to engage with and have a bunch of fun. Highly recommend this toy for all high-class pooches. Follow my pup @peppathepoo for her adventures." —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $14.99+ (available in three sizes).

    9. An expandable pet backpack so you can take your indoor kitty/bunny/guinea pig/albino rats (check the reviews — someone did it LOL) outside for some time in nature.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

The pack has a transparent bubble front and an expandable mesh back that basically turns it into a tent when unzipped. It also has nine vent holes so your pet gets plenty of fresh air.

Promising review: "My cat Josie LOVES this! I leave the door open and she goes in just to chill! She likes to go places with us. It is awesome that it opens up to give her lots of room. I think it is a great value. Cats are picky so no promises your cat will like it but ours loves her other carrier and this one is great for little walks outside or for her to watch us outside or outside hanging out!!!" —Closet Nexus

Get it from Amazon for $42.99+ (available in four styles and five colors).

    10. A 2-in-1 hammock/sleeping bag for ferrets, rats, guinea pigs, and sugar gliders who love to laze about between zoomie sessions.

    amazon.com, Amazon

Promising review: "Absolutely thrilled with this product. I have one large male ferret and one small one. The big one likes to lay on his back and stretch out across hammocks and the top of this one fit him comfortably. Very good stitch quality. Material is thick and sturdy. Pretty pattern. This has quickly become one of their favorite places to sleep. This also came with a lovely thank you note, which was a nice touch!" —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $11.99+ (available in four designs).

    11. A wall-mounted cat playground if your speed demons could use a new frontier to explore. Plus, the hexagonal shelves save you some serious floor space, so it's a win-win.

Promising review: "I loved how easy it was to put together, as well as how cool it looks, like a piece of art! The creator was helpful and patient, and very easy to keep in contact with. I will definitely buy again if my cat ends up loving them as much as I do." —Eva

Get it from Cats Mode on Etsy for $59+ (originally $147.50+; available in six finishes, with or without windows, and with or without add ons like pillows, felt, and window designs).

    12. A floppy robotic fish that only moves when your cat interacts with it. Once they get the hang of it, I guarantee they'll be karate chopping and bunny kicking the ish out of it.

a reviewer's cat playing with the fish
    amazon.com

The fish comes with a small bag of catnip as well as USB charger so you can juice it up whenever your cat kills the battery.

Promising review: "I'm never sure if a new cat toy will be received as well as I hope, but this one sure delivered! My three cats have been playing with it almost nonstop, except for when I have to take it away to charge it. One of them pretty much hogs it and the other two can't get near it, though they try. It took them a few minutes to realize that they had to touch it to get it to move when it stopped flopping, but once they understood it, they were off to the races. I can't speak to the durability of it, but since the cover can be removed for cleaning, I'm thinking it should last a long time — fingers crossed." —Amazon Gal

Get it from Amazon for $14.99+ (available in four styles).

    13. A plush "Barkin" bag with a pup-approved addition: a squeaker, of course! Luckily, if they rip this purse apart it only costs $15 as opposed to $15,000+ for the real thing.

    14. A cactus scratching post because they appreciate fine design just as much as you. That, and having something to claw at, of course.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "Took a chance and ordered this before there were any reviews and I’m glad because it’s soooooooo cute! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, too. My kitten loves it and right now he’s small enough to sit/lay on top of it between the cactus arms and they are sturdy enough to hold him. He has a blast playing with the ball, too! It's Cucumber approved!" —Holly Gilbertson

Get it from Amazon for $18.99+ (available in two sizes).

    15. A banana-shaped bed for the pet who loves "hiding" under blankets and in cardboard boxes. The top flap — or, if we're talking anatomically, the peel — offers them a private and enclosed space to nap.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "This is the best purchase I’ve ever made. Arthur is a 23-pound cat and finding a bed with a cover that fits him has proved challenging. This is fabulous material/quality and he loves it. Took a day and a little catnip to get used to but now it’s his favorite." —robyn

Get it from Amazon for $21.99+ (available in three sizes).

    16. A blinged-out collar with crystals and capped letters because, like Madonna, Rihanna, or Beyoncé, they need only go by one name.

Get it from Amazon for $13.99+ (available in three sizes and seven colors).

    17. A set of robotic swimming fish if your kitties are weirdly intrigued by water. The palm-sized gadgets light up and their fins keep them on the move whether placed in a bowl, sink, or — if your babies are especially brave — bathtub.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

The toys come with eight extra LR44 batteries and an installation tool so you'll get plenty of use out of them. They also automatically turn on/off when placed in water/removed from it so no battery is wasted between play seshs.

Promising review: "These are the cutest stinkin' toys, I can’t stop admiring them myself! The packaging is clean and beautiful, complete with extra batteries and a small screw driver. The fish floats just below the surface of the water with the rubber tail sticking out just enough for the kitties to actually fish it out — which they love! The tail changes speed/tempo every few seconds, allowing it to naturally swim in different directions and make ripples — truly mimicking a real fish. That gives it a realistic touch that I think keeps the cats interested, because if it just flapped around in a circle, it would be annoying. The lasers blink, and are cute, too. Definitely a successful playtime. My cats are now so interested in the sink and tub haha, even when empty. The only thing I can’t judge yet is battery life. We’ve played with them for a little over an hour total now, so, so far so good!" —Noelle Taylor

Get the set of four from Amazon for $17.89.

    18. A leather doggie sofa that's just as posh as your couch, and don't worry about stains or scratches — they'll buff right out with regular use! Oh and BTW...it has a freakin' memory foam base that's probably just as comfortable as your mattress.

    19. A trusty super-sized box of Greenies in oven-roasted chicken flavor because if there's one thing your cat loves more than endless pets, it's the sweet, sweet sound of a shaken treat container.

a reviewer's cat with their head stuck in a tub of greenies
    amazon.com

Promising review: "First of all, I am not a cat, nor have I eaten these myself. So, you'll have to take this review from the point of view of a person who feeds them to three cats. Based on no scientific evidence, I'm concluding that these are quite possibly the most delicious cat treat in existence. They quite literally lose their minds when it's treat time. Our cats have gotten in the habit of getting treats when my wife and I are finished with dinner. Now they bug me for treats while we are still EATING dinner. The treats are bite-sized, roughly textured, and very crunchy. My cats have had the chicken, catnip, and salmon flavors and it seems the most preferred by everybody is salmon. These treats were specifically recommend by my big boy catto's veterinarian to help with his dental care. They seem reasonably good quality and are well-fortified with vitamins and minerals. The pieces stay intact quite well and there's very few crumbled/broken pieces. Our kitty trio has had a variety of other treats by other manufacturers but these are unequivocally the superior cat treat. We actually have to hide the treats in a drawer that the cats can't open. We used to keep them in a kitchen cabinet but SOMEBODY figured out how to open the cabinet and the treat box." —Christopher Lang

Get them from Amazon for $13.46.

    20. An interactive treat maze for high-energy cats who could use a lil' mental stimulation. It even has three levels of difficulty — beginner, intermediate, and top-cat — so you can switch things up as their hunting skills improve.

    Chewy

Just hide some treats or food the various compartments and let your kitty get to work!

Promising review: "I'm going out of town for the first time since the pandemic. I wanted my girls to have enough stimulation during my absence. I bought this with my younger more active/energetic cat in mind. She's not very food motivated but my oldest is. While the cat I intended to gravitate towards it isn't, I'm pleased my older and chubbier cat will be more active. She's been trying to figure this puzzle out for the last 20 minutes, moving all over the living room. I love it! Would totally recommend to other cat lovers!" —CreatorCourt

Get it from Chewy for $15.94.

    21. A smart pet sofa so if you live with roommates or partners who have a "no dogs on the furniture" rule, your pups still have a comfy place of their own.

a reviewer's large dog on the black pet sofa
    Anonymous / Wayfair

Promising review: "What a very lovely dog bed! It's super sturdy and the small is plenty big enough for my Jack Russell mix, even when she stretches way out. Nice cuddly sides for when she wants to curl up or just support her head. It's absolutely beautiful, too, silky velvet. I wouldn't have called it green but a gorgeous shade of teal blue. Fit for royalty." —Kate

Get it from Wayfair for $170.17 (originally $319.99; available in three colors).

    22. Or a coffee table cat condo if your fur babies are already prone to crawling all over your furniture anyways. Now, at least, they'll have a designated spot — in the form of a built-in condo — that's just theirs.

    23. A rotating sisal scratcher ball for those energetic kitties who were most definitely a DJ in their past life. The durable scratcher *should* (no promises though — you know how cats are) even be enticing enough to keep them away from your couch.

Promising review: "This is a super-cute and cat-friendly scratcher. So many fancy-looking scratcher toys are of no interest to my cats, but they all love this one! It was very easy to put together and is super sturdy. Definitely worth it!" —MHurt

Get it from Amazon for $38.99.

    24. A pack of all-natural matabi chew sticks — a catnip alternative that's somehow even more tantalizing than anything they've tried before.

    Meowy Janes / Etsy

Meowy Janes is a New Jersey–based small business that specializes in catnip alternatives. They work with sustainable, family-owned farms to source their natural products.

I recently tried some of these out with my cats and they were a hit! TBH they've never really been super into catnip — they'll play with it but they don't go wild — so I was excited to see they were into these. They bat them around, rub their faces all over them, and ultimately, when they're done, hide them under a chair or in their cat condo so they can come back to them later.

Get them from Meowy Janes on Etsy for $10.86 or on Amazon for $9.97.

    25. A triangular tug-o'-war toy for serious — and I mean serious — chewers. Get a good grip or you'll risk having your shoulder thrown out, ya hear?

    Wild One

Promising review: "This toy is great for high-energy and strong dogs like my own who tend to obsess over toys and chew through them in a day. The toy is still in tip-top shape and my dog absolutely loves it! I couldn't be happier! The colors are also identical to the photos, which was very reassuring. I got mine in the deep blue and it's so cute." —Maggie S.

Get it from Wild One for $16 (available in two sizes and four colors).

    26. A macramé cat hammock so visually arresting, it may just convince your fur baby to give up the Amazon box they've been calling home for the last month. Since it's made out of a bunch of strings, I don't see how they wouldn't at least be intrigued.

    Macrame Beautiful / Etsy

Macrame Beautiful is a small business based in Beijing that sells stunning macramé pieces like planters, wall decor, and baskets.

Promising review: "This is my second purchase and I will continue to buy!! The craftsmanship is so beautiful. It is evident she enjoys what she does. Every item is packed with care and in adorable resealable pouches. Sweet stickers with handwritten notes and beautifully printed 'how to care for and clean the items.' My kittens love their hammock!" —Annie Zummo

Get it from Macrame Beautiful on Etsy for $59.99+ (available in two styles and with one, two, or no cushions).

    27. A plush anti-anxiety donut bed with a raised rim that keeps your baby feeling nice and secure. The fluffy material also mimics fur, so it feels like they're cuddling their mom.

    Chelsea Stuart / BuzzFeed, amazon.com

Both of my cats took to this as soon as we got it. They store their toys in there, nap in there, and make a wholeeee lot of biscuits. They have a few beds that they use but this one seems to be their favorite and I think the high walls are definitely why. Sometimes they use the sides as a pillow and other times they bury their heads into the interior and curl up in a little ball. My only complaint is that they don't sell one in my size. 😞

Promising review: "When I bought one of these, I thought 'They have 18 unused beds all over the place. Why do you think they'll use this one?' OMG, was I wrong! It came, I opened it and just tossed it on the floor. Immediately, Sassy was in it and slept in it all night. I put it on the couch and Magic crawled in. And Sassy cried and yowled. I ordered another. They're used every day and night. Now I need a third — Magic just had major dental work done so I put his bed on my bed so I could keep an eye on him that first night... Molly took it over, so Magic took Sassy's and Sassy tried to beat Molly up to get her bed back. Ended up with 2 a.m. zoomies. *sigh*" —oreosmeow

Get it from Amazon for $39.99+ (available in three sizes and two colors).

    28. A fuzzy Sherpa "bedtime bear" hand-filled with calming lavender if you know your baby has trouble sleeping when you're not home.

    Modern Beast

Get it from Modern Beast for $34 (available in four styles).

    29. And zebra-print activity mat that looks exactly like a baby play mat and that just tickles me pink. If your kitten could use some tummy time, the attached hanging toys will keep them entertained.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "My cat simply loves this! He dives right into it, sometimes even doing somersaults into it, and it has really held up nicely! He's 15 pounds, so he's not small, and it bounces right back into place after he pounces on it. It moves with him, and has provided hours of entertainment for him and for me! Highly recommend for active cats." —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $20.95.
