While we were all doing God-knows-what on Friday, Emma Stone was in Queens with her husband, Dave McCary, to watch the game between the San Diego Padres and the New York Mets.
You can see that they were repping hard for the Padres, dressing in team apparel from head to toe:
This got them booed hard, given that they were in Mets territory.
But they handled it in the best way — cheers-ing it up with some drinks!
So far, Emma hasn't commented on the matter publicly, but it does call to mind a similar incident that unfolded recently, when Mila Kunis was booed by New Yorkers during a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live!
People were personally offended for the simple fact that she's not from New York, that she grew up on Domino's Pizza, and that she no longer likes the food as an adult. But Mila also handled that like a pro, hitting back at the crowd with plenty of jokes.
