This weekend, Marvel finally treated us to a trailer for the long-awaited Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Set for a November 11 release, the film offers a first look at how the story will continue without the late actor Chadwick Boseman (T'Challa), while focusing on other characters as they "fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T'Challa's death," per the synopsis.
"As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong'o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda," the synopsis adds.
The new footage hints at the journey ahead and is soundtracked to a beautiful cover from Tems of Bob Marley's "No Woman, No Cry" before closing out with Kendrick Lamar's powerful rap ballad "Alright."
