Yeah our pto is first come first serve, has to be denied or approved within 3 days. If it’s approved, obviously our boss can’t approve another person for that same time period or there would quite literally be no one to work and we’re direct care workers so that’s a big deal.

If I throw a party and don’t want kids at it, I’m entitled to that. It’s my party. Don’t come if you feel the need to bring children to an adult event.

I work in a nursing home. I make 16/hr. We’ve been so short staffed for the last ten years that we’re now doing the job of three people each shift. Breaks don’t exist. 8-12+ hours per day. No food breaks, no bathroom breaks, nothing. It’s impossible.
