Nigella Lawson's Perfect Response To Trinny Woodall's "Domestic Abuse Joke"

Turns out Nigella can serve-up shade just as well as she can food.

Trinny Woodall recently wrote an article for High50 magazine to celebrate her 50th birthday. She closed her article by saying how great it is that "life can still grab you by the throat and shake you up" at 50.

People found the statement rather inappropriate as she's currently dating PR dreamboat Charles Saatchi, who was famously photographed grabbing his then-wife, Nigella Lawson, by the throat.

But, Nigella swiftly responded in the most elegantly bitchy way possible, by choosing her "Slut's Spaghetti" recipe from her book Kitchen as her recipe of the day, adding: "Do I need to say anything more?"

Slut's Spaghetti - aka pasta alla puttanesca - is #recipeoftheday . Do I need to say anything more? http://t.co/maRdgWuXS2

    Team Nigella obviously LOVED IT:

@IrishMirror I love miss @Nigella_Lawson ! She doesn't give a flying fuck team Nigella all the way

@Nigella_Lawson unreal - you are the QUEEN of the kitchen Nigella darling. Serving up slut's spaghetti DAILY. that bitch can eat it up!

@Nigella_Lawson you go girl! Hold your head up high babe xxx

@trinnywoodall mocking domestic violence - a beyond stupid remark showcasing her ignorance #teamnigella @Nigella_Lawson

Nigella was quick to point out that she just happens to love Slut's Spaghetti and that there was "no agenda" behind her tweet.

Folks: no agenda behind #recipeoftheday! Slut's Spaghetti an old fave of mine. http://t.co/maRdgWuXS2

But, we all know what she meant.
