Discover McGill is a fun, energetic campus-wide welcome day to kick-off Orientation Week. It starts with a dynamic campus-wide University Orientation Welcome Event and then moves into a Faculty Orientation and campus tour in the afternoon.

Move-in Weekend

For those of you in residence, move-in weekend is one of the most exciting parts of Orientation Week. Whether you have a double or single room, get ready to make lots of new friends and be a part of the quintessential university experience!

For those of you not staying in a McGill Residence, be sure to attend Off-Campus Fest. You'll get the chance to bond with your fellow students living off campus!

Rez Fest/Off-Campus Fest

Rez Fest is a celebration of all things Rez: it begins first thing in the morning when everyone gathers in their halls to get ready for the full day ahead. The day culminates in the highly-anticipated kickoff to the annual Rez Warz competition.

Off-Campus Fest is for all the off-campus students and is hosted by our Off-Campus Fellows. These students will also get a chance to come together and explore what McGill and Montreal have to offer.

Yay for bonding!

The time has come... Frosh 2014 is upon us! Get ready for one of the most memorable social events of your first year.

You have the option of choosing between your faculty's Frosh or any of the non-faculty Froshes. Not sure which Frosh is right for you? Learn more and register here.

Starting Your Year Off Right with the Orientation Centre

Whether you’re an incoming or returning student, undergraduate or graduate, the Centre will have something for you! The Centre will be stocked with information on everything you need to know about starting your year off on the right foot: from academics, extracurriculars, and services, to city tips and tricks and Montreal hot-spots.

Be sure to join the OC Facebook event for all updates and details on your one-stop for campus and city info, as well as updates on the First-Year Resource Room.

Open August 20th 2014 until September 5th 2014 in the Brown Student Services Building (2nd and 3rd Floors).

Checking in with an advisor is the easiest way to relieve pre-school stress. Advisors are here to make sure you're on track to graduate and answer any questions you may have. They're truly an invaluable resource for both new and returning students!
