Sorry, But That "Grease" Theory About Sandy Dying Isn't True

"Whoever made up the theory must have been on acid."

Last week, Sarah Michelle Gellar drew attention to an old Grease fan theory by sharing a confused Facebook post.

    "Wait, what?"

The theory originates from a 2013 Reddit thread from user atomicbolt, who claims that Sandy drowned at the start of the film, and everything was just a fantasy.

Well, it turns out that the theory is 100% false.

Jim Jacobs, who co-wrote the original book and musical, told TMZ that "whoever made up the theory must have been on acid," and "Sandy was very much alive".

So there you go, Sandy and Danny really do live happily ever after, and cars really can fly.
