On Tuesday night Johnny Depp dressed as Jack Sparrow to surprise patients at Lady Cilento Children's Hospital in Brisbane, Australia.
The actor is currently in Oz to film the latest Pirates of the Caribbean instalment.
He remained in character the entire time as he spoke to the children, who all seemed ecstatic about his unexpected visit.
He also happily took an array of photographs.
And most importantly, he put a smile on children's faces.
So my nephew got to meet johnny depp in hospital today. Almost a month in hospital and this happens. @realdepp
Fellow actor Stephen Graham (known for playing Scrum in the Pirates franchise) was also there in full costume.
The duo flew in from the Gold Coast via helicopter for the special occasion.
Johnny also made an appearance on Juiced TV, a show "made by kids in the hospital, for kids in the hospital".

According to Juiced TV, the trip was initiated by Johnny and Stephen and organised by the Children's Hospital Foundation.
