No Joss Whedon

Meet Whit Anderson, a first time writer and huge Buffy fan, who’s currently in the process of tackling a script that’s “compelling […] a lot of fun” and “relevant to today” according to Batman Begins producer Charles Roven.
This new take on the Buffy mythos will be a complete reboot, with no mention of the original characters (Willow, Xander, Giles et al.) created for TV series.
I think it’s safe to assume that neither Sarah Michelle Gellar or Kristy Swanson will be reprising their roles as the plucky slayer.
