There are two big and ~sad~ truths that happens to all of us. 1.) WE GET OLD.
2.) As we get older we become our parents. So, what I want to know is: what is the exact moment — or moments — you knew you were becoming your parents?
Maybe you woke early one Saturday morning, put on the music you used to listen to in high school, and started to clean your house — and then realized you had turned into your mom.
Perhaps you showed up to the airport to catch a flight three hours before you should have been there and knew right then you had become your father.
Or, maybe you were punishing your kids and you word-for-word said something your mom would have said.
Or, perhaps you sent out a corny joke text in the group chat, and after sending it thought to yourself, OMG, that's a joke my dad would say!
