Demi Lovato Just Released The Lyric Video To "I Love Me (Emo Version)" And It's The Perfect Tribute To Myspace

    tAKIng U BaCK 2 a simPLEr TiME. *(^o^)*

Back in early March, Demi Lovato dropped "I Love Me," which is the first single from her currently untitled upcoming seventh album.

And honestly, it's a great pop song with a wonderful message about loving yourself and working on not letting others tear your self-worth down:

Well yesterday, Demi dropped an emo remix of it (which also features Travis Barker on drums) and not only does it sound straight out of 2007, but it also features a lyrics video that pays homage to Myspace.

The video starts with an emo dude — who looks like he's a Hot Topic manager circa 2006 — looking like he is about to post something on his DeadJournal about My Chemical Romance.

But instead, he opens Demi's Myspace and wow, the mems...this layout and that cursor!!! THAT CURSOR!

And the mail center! Totally forgot about this.

Of course, they featured the iconic comments section (with Demi Fan 724 being "online now!")...

...and the equally iconic pixely GIF stickers.

Also, like Demi's, Travis's Myspace layout was throwback perfection — right down to the background wallpaper and the profile pic!!!

And for anyone doubting Demi's emo cred, check her out singing Paramore's "Misery Business" on Emo Nite at the Echoplex in LA back in 2017:
