Even if you're not a huge TV watcher, you probably have a TV character or two that you absolutely love.
And recently, Reddit user u/thierryadams was curious about just that when they posed the question: "Who is the best sitcom character of all time?"
Of course, there were lots of opinions. Here are some of the top-voted and best answers:
1. "Lucy Ricardo from I Love Lucy."
2. "Lucille Bluth in Arrested Development. She stole every scene she was in, which is both a testament to how well the character was written and Jessica Walter’s performance."
3. "Gob Bluth from Arrested Development."
4. "Estelle Getty as Sophia Petrillo on The Golden Girls."
5. "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Charlie Kelly!
6. "Creed from The Office. Proof that less is more. 'Somebody making soup?'"
7. "Maurice Moss (from The IT Crowd)."
8. "Hal from Malcolm in the Middle."
9. "Captain Holt from Brooklyn Nine-Nine."
10. "Futurama's Bender B. Rodriguez."
11. "Ron f***ing Swanson from Parks and Rec."
12. "Basil Fawlty from Fawlty Towers."
13. "Abed Nadir from Community."
14. "Megan Mullally as Karen Walker in Will & Grace."
15. "It's George Costanza."
16. "Alexis from Schitt’s Creek is a favorite of mine. Annie Murphy played her so well."
17. "CHANDLER BING."
And lastly...
18. "Homer Simpson by a landslide."
