I would be surprised if you didn't know who Jim Parsons is. I mean, everybody knows Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory, right?
Jim recently made an appearance on The Ellen Show where the pair spoke about why it's weird being in a gay couple at their age. But before you get angry, allow me to explain the cute but heartbreaking reason behind it.
The topic of conversation came up when Ellen mentioned that Jim and his husband, Todd Spiewak, are celebrating their first wedding anniversary.
This prompted Jim to say that he finds it weird that the couple are only celebrating their first anniversary when the couple have actually been together for 16 years.
Jim went on to call it bullshit that the couple are "back to paper" because they couldn't legally get married when they first got together.
If Jim and Todd want gold, give it to them goddammit.
Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some crying I need to attend to.
