Here's The Cast Of "Morbius" And Where You Know Them From

    After countless delays and SIX different release dates, Morbius is finally here!

    Sony Pictures Releasing

    There has been a lot of anticipation for the "living vampire", who will become a part of Tom Holland's Spider-Man universe... so like, MCU kinda but kinda not.

    You can check out the trailer here. Just like Venom, Morbius is giving off a serious anti-hero vibe, and I am HERE for it!

    So to get you clued up, let's take a look at the main characters in Morbius and who's playing them.

    1. Jared Leto as Morbius

    Who he's playing: Dr. Michael Morbius, a scientist who suffers from a rare blood disease. His attempts at curing himself give him vampiric abilities, but then he has to battle his newfound bloodlust, which causes some pretty big moral issues.

    Where you know him from: Dallas Buyers Club, American Psycho, House of Gucci. 

    2. Matt Smith as Milo

    Who he's playing: A childhood friend of Michael's who suffers from the same disease. He has less of a problem with the "villainous" side of the treatment's powers and embraces them fully. 

    Where you know him from: Doctor Who, The Crown, Last Night in Soho.

    3. Adria Arjona as Martine Bancroft

    Who she's playing: Martine is a scientist and also Morbius's fiancé. Adria described Martine as "very grounded and secure in herself" and took inspiration from US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for the role. 

    Where you know her from: Pacific Rim: Uprising, True Detective, Emerald City.

    4. Jared Harris as Nicholas

    Who he's playing: Nicholas runs a facility for people who suffer from the disease that Morbius and Milo are afflicted with, and he acts as a sort of father figure to them both. 

    Where you know him from: Chernobyl, Mad Men, The Crown. 

    5. Tyrese Gibson as Simon Straud

    Who he's playing: Simon Straud is an FBI agent who's in pursuit of Dr Morbius. Dr Morbius's synthetic-blood invention saved Straud's arm while he was on tour in Afghanistan — as it did so many lives. Straud is by far the more serious of the two agents, with Rodriguez providing more of the comic relief. 

    Where you know him from: Fast and Furious (all seven of them), Transformers, Bad Boy.

    6. Al Madrigal as Alberto Rodriguez

    Who he's playing: Rodriguez is another FBI agent and partner to Simon Straud, tasked with apprehending Morbius. 

    Where you know him from: Night School, Finding the Way Back, The Daily Show With Jon Stewart.

    7. Michael Keaton as Adrian Toomes

    Who he's playing: Michael Keaton's Toomes returns in Morbius, having previously appeared as Vulture in Spiderman: Homecoming. The primary antagonist of Homecoming seems to have more of an "egging on" role for Morbius in future releases. 

    Where you know him from: Spotlight, Birdman, Beetlejuice.

    8. Archie Renaux as Bobby

    Who he's playing: Not much is known about Bobby, but we're excited to see Archie in Morbius after his breakout role in Netflix's Shadow and Bone. 

    Where you know him from: Shadow and Bone, Voyagers.
