Teacher Swims Neck Deep In River To Get To Work In India
A dedicated teacher commutes to his government job at a school - by wading across a neck-deep river swirling with debris. Abdul Malik's barmy commute first began 20 years ago when he started his job at a village school in Malappuram district Kerala, India. In a bid to shave three hours off his round trip journey by bus each day, he took to swimming across the raging local contributory of the Chaliyar river.
