Surgeons are preparing for major surgery to separate five-year-old conjoined twin boys. Brothers Artur and Heitor Rocha are joined at the pelvis and have three legs between them. The boys, from Bahia, Brazil, currently share intestines, a bladder, a liver and genitals, which will be divided out during the surgery. The boys will be separated at the hips and each will be left with just one leg – with the third leg being used for vital skin grafts. Artur and Heitor's story appears in Body Bizarre, which starts this Thursday, 4th September, at 9pm on TLC.
