Just When I Thought "Toy Story 3" Couldn't Get Any Sadder, I Noticed This Shit

    Damnit, Pixar, with the waterworks.

Okay, so, it's 2017 and by now you should know that Toy Story 3 is probably one of the saddest movies of this generation.*

I mean, Pixar really played us here. When Toy Story 3 came out, we were excited to see our favorite misfit toys back at it, but I don't think any of us were truly prepared for the emotional wreckage that came when Andy said goodbye to Woody and the gang before he left for college.

But what if I pointed out one small detail that makes this film even sadder?

I know you're probably thinking: "Not possible. There's no way this movie could make me feel any more emotionally distraught than it already has." But you'd be wrong.

If you look closely during one scene in Toy Story 3, you'll notice that Andy has a cluttered bulletin board in his room.

And, if you look even more closely, you'll notice that on this bulletin board there is a postcard from none other than...drumroll please...Carl and Ellie from the movie Up.

That's right. The cutest Pixar couple to ever exist sent Andy a postcard, and anyone who's ever seen Up knows exactly why a letter from Carl and Ellie makes Toy Story 3 even more emotionally draining.

Just the thought of these two sweethearts' relationship, compounded with the emotional trauma of Andy growing up and saying goodbye to his childhood, is enough to have the tears flowing in full force all over again.

NEXT TIME PREPARE US FOR SHIT LIKE THIS, PIXAR!
