We recently asked members of the BuzzFeed Community to tell us which Harry Potter book scenes should have made it into the movies. Here are the magical results.

Hermione jinxed the D.A. signup list, and anyone who ratted them out would have "SNEAK" pimpled on their face, which is what happened to Marietta.

14. The portable swamp the Weasley twins left for Umbridge.

Warner Bros.

Flitwick eventually removed it, but left a patch as a tribute to the comedic duo.

15. The prophecy and the fact that Neville could have been the Chosen One.

Warner Bros.

"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... Born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives... "It's different," said Lupin, barely moving his lips and suddenly looking tense. "Bill will not be a full werewolf. The cases are completely-"

"But I don't care either, I don't care!" said Tonks, seizing the front of Lupin's robes and shaking them. "I've told you a million times..."

"I've said all along you're taking a ridiculous line on this, Remus."

"I am not being ridiculous," said Lupin steadily. "Tonks deserves someone young and whole."

"But she wants you," said Arthur Weasley with a small smile. "And after all, young and whole men do not necessarily remain so."

"You mean we ought to get them fighting?" asked Harry.

"No," said Ron seriously, "I mean we should tell them to get out. We don't want any more Dobbies, do we? We can't order them to die for us—"

There was a clatter as the basilisk fangs cascaded out of Hermione's arms. Running at Ron she flung them around his neck and kissed him full on the mouth. Ron threw away the fangs and broomstick he was holding and responded with such enthusiasm that he lifted Hermione off her feet.

Warner Bros. / Paramount Pictures

Harry is met by applause and cries when he sees Dumbledore in his portrait. He then repairs his wand and returns the Elder Wand to Dumbledore's grave.

Obviously you can't fit everything from the books into a movie, so the logical solution for an inevitable remake is to have a TV series with seven seasons.

BONUS: A lot of people said they wished they had seen Dudley's good-bye to Harry. It's actually a deleted scene.
