15 Actors That Let Details From Their Projects Slip While Promoting Them

    It's harder to keep it all under wraps than you'd think.

    It's so fun to see actors excited and passionate about their upcoming projects, especially when they're ready to share them with the rest of the world.

    On occasion, that excitement can spill over and before you know it, spoilers slip out.

    Sometimes, it's not that big of a deal and it goes relatively under the radar. In this day and age, it tends to blow up a bit bigger though.

    Most people only slip up once or twice, but some actors have reputations as serial offenders. Here are the best of both.

    1. Tom Holland, spoiler-in-chief, has reportedly had information restricted from him for fear he might slip up during a press tour.

    Some of his greatest hits include accidentally revealing the Sony/Marvel Spider-Man series was a trilogy before the third film was announced, and accidentally ruining the end of Avengers: Infinity War for a whole theater of people about to watch it.

    2. Mischa Barton revealed her One Tree Hill character Marissa Cooper's fate a day before the highly anticipated episode aired.

    3. Michael Keaton gave away a pretty major Batman spoiler THE DAY BEFORE the iconic film was released on Late Night With David Letterman.

    He made the comment flippantly, but fans pieced together that his character, Drax, had been vanquished as part of Thanos' snap. That meant the snapped heroes, or at least some of them, were due for a comeback.

    9. Rachel McAdams said wayyyy too much about The Time Traveler's Wife during an appearance on The Daily Show.

    10. Mark Ruffalo failed to end a live stream he did before a Thor: Ragnarok screening and ended up leaking audio of the first 10 minutes of the movie before realizing his error.
