Can You Choose The Airplane Seat That Doesn't Have An Annoying Person Next To You?

Oh no! You went with an aisle seat figuring you might have some leg room, but you ended up next to this guy. He's an aspiring DJ, too. Sorry. Not your fault, just bad luck.

Oooh, rough break. You picked the seat that has a terribly behaved child right behind you. When he's not screaming bloody murder, he'll be kicking the back of your seat and keeping you from napping. May God have mercy on your soul.

At first, you might think this is a good seat because the guy next to you is just going to snooze and not bother you, right? Wrong! He's going to keep nodding off onto your shoulder, and since he sleeps as soundly as the dead you won't be able to get up to pee for the whole flight.

Noooooooo why did you pick a middle seat? Were all the other seats booked up? You really have to book earlier. Now you have double the chance of having a weirdo next to you. Good luck.

You would swear that the person in front of you has their seat reclined, but they actually don't; there's just absolutely no leg room in this row. Did they accidentally mess up the design on this plane? Was it made for tiny children? Is this a baby plane or something? Seriously, what is happening here? How do normal humans sit in this seat?

You aren't afraid of flying, but you will be after sitting next to this lady the whole flight. She has an entire cocktail of anxiety meds, but that still won't keep her from screaming and grabbing your arm at every little bit of turbulence. Hopefully she hits enough whiskeys that she quietly accepts her fate.

Listen, of course you should totally be able to bring your dog with you. But this lady's dog sucks. It won't stop barking and it just shit on the floor. It would be OK if you could at least pet a cute dog, but this one is SO MEAN. Feed it a tranquilizer, lady, and make things easier for everyone.

Somebody forgot to put their personal items in their tote bag, so now they keep standing up mid-flight and rummaging around in their suitcase in the overhead bin. That would be fine, except for the fact that you're in the aisle seat, so their crotch is in your face every time they do it, and it's making things weird.

You did it! You managed to pick the seat that gets you upgraded to first class. You don't know exactly what you did to appease the airline gods, but they have rewarded you with free champagne, all the leg room you can handle, and some much-needed peace and quiet.
