Thinking that “high tea” is something posh (it’s cooked) whereas the proper expression is Afternoon Tea ((cucumber sandwiches and cake).

When I lived in Japan I was irritated when Japanese said to me “you, American?” so instead of saying I was English I learned to say “you, Korean?”
