"If an angel came down from heaven and said, 'You are destined to wear leggings for the rest of our life,' I would throw that angel a party. I love leggings that much. But finding leggings? That can be an issue. So when I stumbled upon this pair on Amazon and saw they have over 2,000 reviews, I obviously had to try them for myself. Science.

Here is my criteria: I like my leggings to be on the thicker side (to avoid full undie outlines), and I actually scream at the dressing room mirror when leggings are see-through. WHO THE HELL WANTS THAT?? Which is *exactly* why I was excited to try out these babies: none of the reviewers seemed to have any of those issues. And guess what? THEY WERE RIGHT. On top of being made from a super cozy material, these leggings do not show any sort of color — at all. (I actually wore my brightest pink and orange underwear on several occasions to confirm that this was true, lol). Even when I bend over! The only con is that they can sometimes show lint. But — hack alert! — if you have dryer sheets in your house and give the leggings a quick wipe before you leave, your legs will be lint-free.

"Flashback to three years ago when I was heartbroken over a boy and my mom took me shopping to heal my wounds…as one does. We went to an Old Navy where I came across these compression leggings. I immediately bought a few pairs after I saw the price (they were on sale for $15, but regularly $30, which is still not bad IMO!).

"Look, I get it. Lululemon is fuckin’ expensive! That reality is not lost on me. But I love these leggings too damn much. If you find me on a Saturday or Sunday, there is a 100% chance I am in a pair of their Align pants. And it’s not because I am working out or doing any of that nonsense — I’m simply living my everyday life in them. "I'll admit that I wanted to try these leggings from Outdoor Voices after seeing multiple people wearing them on Instagram and on the streets of NY. I'm an easy target. Sue me. But honestly? These leggings are incredible and HERE IS WHY!

I like to take hot yoga in the city (I know, I am the pinnacle of health), but then have to hop on a bus and train for my hour-long commute home. Yes, that's right, I am basically sitting in sweat for an hour. BUT! The fabric of these leggings is so great at wicking moisture, that I feel almost dry by the time I walk to the train. I've tried a ton of other leggings in the past that claim to be 'dri-fit', but they were all BS. These leggings are truly amazing for taking a workout class and then heading to grab dinner or a drink with a friend; ~athleisure~ that can actually be worn for exercising purposes — who woulda thunk!

"Okay, full disclosure: these are not leggings, they're joggers. So if you're looking for leggings to take the place of tights under dresses and such, I'm sorry to disappoint you, and you are excused from reading the rest of this section. HOWEVER! If you're looking for the most comfortable pants ever, pants that you'll fantasize about any time you have the misfortune to be wearing a different pair of pants, and that are somehow also slim-cut and flattering and cute enough to wear outside, then OH BOY, do I have the pants for you.

"Before trying out these Soma leggings, I didn't realize how much I was missing out on. The black is super opaque, so you shan't be needing to worry about undies peeking through — I've frequently worn these with full undies in a full range of colors, and none of them have made a guest appearance. "The search for the perfect pair of leggings has been an uphill battle for me. I’ve encountered the kind that stretches out easily (at the knees), the kind that slips down your butt, the kind that becomes transparent when you bend down, and the kind that’s so tight that putting them on feels like a battle. The struggle continued until I tried these Danskin yoga leggings. They’re just about perfect in every way!

They hug my legs and booty perfectly without being too tight, and it’s not a struggle to put them on. The waistband comes up at an excellent height, so that it doesn’t slip down when I move around. They’re a wonderful material that feels soft and cotton-y (not that slippery fabric most workout leggings are made of), and are COMPLETELY opaque — even if I do squats. I’m very comfortable wearing them outside of the gym with a tunic or sweater because the design is very basic; it doesn’t have loud patterns that scream workout attire. Also, I’m on the taller side and the length is perfect for me (although I can see them being a little bit too long for petite ladies).
