25 Heartwarming TV Episodes That Are 100% Worth Watching Right Now

This episode features Chidi getting all of his memories restored by Michael so he could help Team Cockroach save Earth. "The Answer" culminates with us learning that Chidi wrote a note for Janet detailing how important Eleanor is to him. Honestly, it brings the biggest smile to my face just thinking about it.

"HalloVeen" is a classic Halloween heist episode and features Captain Holt being tricked by a fake Cheddar, a bunch of handmaids from The Handmaid's Tale swarming the Nine-Nine, and one of the biggest surprises of the series. Jake ultimately uses the heist to propose to Amy, and it's "noice."

This episode was almost the series finale of Brooklyn Nine-Nine after Fox canceled it, and it has so many incredibly moments. While everything seems to be going wrong on Jake and Amy's wedding day, the Nine-Nine comes together and gives them a picture-perfect wedding in the end. Also, we get to see Rosa flirt with Alicia, who is played by Gina Rodriguez.

The 300th episode of Grey's is packed full of nostalgia, so even if you stopped watching years ago, you'll still appreciate this episode. In "Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story," everyone ends up treating patients who remind them of George, Cristina, Izzie, and other people from their pasts. This episode also features the monumental moment of Meredith finally winning a coveted Harper Avery Award.

This heartfelt Doctor Who episode will honestly leave you in a puddle of happy tears, but I swear it's worth it. In "Vincent and the Doctor," the Doctor and Amy take Vincent Van Gogh to a Paris museum in 2010, where he gets to experience firsthand how his art has changed the world.

"Niagara Part 1 and Part 2" are quintessential The Office episodes. These episodes not only have the hilarious hijinks that you would expect from this show, like everyone dancing down the aisle, but it also has some extremely pure Jim and Pam moments that just make my heart soar.

There are so many special relationships on This Is Us, but Randall and Jack's always hits me right in the feelings. In this Season 1 episode, Jack attends Randall's karate class and shows everyone how he's willing to "lift his son up." "The Trip" also shows the Big Three going to the cabin for the first time, which ultimately becomes a very important place.

Schitt's Creek is easily one of the most uplifting TV shows you could be watching right now. "Open Mic" beautifully puts Patrick and David's relationship front and center when Patrick serenades David with "Simply the Best" at an open mic night. If David's face doesn't make you smile, then just look at how proud Moira is.

This is another heartwarming Schitt's Creek episode for several reasons. Not only does Patrick tell David he loves him for the first time, but Ted surprises Alexis at her event and confesses his love for her. "Singles Week" is simply the perfect episode to remind you how powerful love is.

New Girl has so many incredible episodes, but some of my favorites always involve Schmidt and Cece. "Landing Gear" brings their relationship to the next level with their adorable wedding, which of course doesn't go off without an issue or two. Schmidt being stuck on a plane on his wedding day is truly a classic Schmidt moment.

Jane the Virgin always has the ability to make you go from laughing hysterically to crying over the Villanueva family. "Chapter Forty-Four" is a monumental episode that features Jane and Michael finally getting married. While you'll probably shed a few tears, seeing how happy these two are is absolutely worth it.

I feel like it's rare these days that a series finale manages to stick the landing, but Jane the Virgin does just that. In "Chapter One Hundred," not only does Jane's story come full circle in terms of becoming a writer, but she marries Rafael in a beautiful ceremony.

Parks and Rec consistently manages to turn a bad situation into something funny and heartfelt, and this episode is the best example of that. "Win, Lose, or Draw" shows Pawnee on Election Day and the extremely close race between Leslie and Bobby Newport. It's an iconic episode from start to finish.

While I enjoy the seasons that follow this One Tree Hill episode, "Remember Me as a Time of Day" feels like a series finale. In just one episode, Peyton and Lucas decide to leave Tree Hill with their newborn daughter, Nathan achieves his dream of playing in the NBA, and Brooke finally realizes she loves Julian. This episode is heartwarming teen TV at its finest.

Overall, Gilmore Girls is the perfect binge-watch, but if you want to rewatch only one episode, "Those Are Strings, Pinocchio" has to be it. Rory's years at Chilton are some of the best episodes, and watching it culminate with her graduation is so memorable. The moment where Rory thanks Lorelai during her valedictorian speech is everything.

Okay, yes, this episode of One Day at a Time has some heart-wrenching moments, but the happy scenes are equally as important. In "Quinces," Elena celebrates her quinceañera, and while her father doesn't accept her coming out, Elena has more people supporting her than she realizes.

Mindy Kaling putting her own spin on a romantic Empire State Building moment is truly one of my favorite things from The Mindy Project. In "Danny and Mindy," Danny and Mindy meet at the top of the Empire State Building and confess their love for each other, but first they have to walk up so many flights of stairs. It's hilarious, sweet, and a perfect episode.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer has so many memorable heartbreaking moments that we sometimes forget to celebrate the happy scenes too. During Season 3, Buffy deals with graduating high school on top of being the Chosen One. In this episode, Buffy finally learns that all of her hard work hasn't gone unnoticed when her class gives her "The Class Protector" award at prom.

It took three seasons to watch the McKinley High Glee Club finally win Nationals, and it's a joyous episode whether you're watching it for the first or hundredth time. In "Nationals," the Glee Club sings "Edge of Glory," "Paradise by the Dashboard Light," and "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" to finally secure their first-place trophy.

Sex Education has a ton of iconic moments in Season 2, but nothing can top the bus scene. In this episode, Aimee finally tells Maeve and her BFFs that she's afraid to get on the bus, so they all decide to get on it with her. Listen, I love a comic book TV series that isn't afraid to be just as wacky as actual comic books, and Legends of Tomorrow does this time and time again. In "Legends of To-Meow-Meow," the series hilariously spoofs Charlie's Angels and uses puppets after Constantine accidentally changes the future. It's a feel-good episode you can't help but enjoy.

Atypical brilliantly balances comedy and drama in every episode, and it's one of the reasons it's a Netflix hidden gem. In "Searching for Brown Sugar Man," Sam and Zahid are center stage as they try to patch up their friendship. Also, Izzie wants to do everything she can to make her relationship with Casey work, even if it isn't easy.

Cory and Topanga's relationship is one of the best parts of Boy Meets World, and this is such a memorable moment for them. In "Long Walk to Pittsburgh," after Topanga's family announces they're moving to Pittsburgh, she romantically shows up to Cory's house in the rain to announce that she wants to stay.

Parenthood definitely made me cry sad tears more than anything, but this episode was one of the rare occasions where I cried happy tears. In "Because You're My Sister," Joel and Julia officially adopt Victor while surrounded by the entire Braverman family. Also, Adam and Kristina celebrate that she's cancer-free. This episode proves how powerful this ensemble cast is.

High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is a feel-good show from beginning to end. Not only is the cast super talented, but the storylines and music are so special too. In "Act Two," everyone performs, you guessed it, act two of High School Musical.
