Eleven And The Squad Are Back And Growing Up Fast In The New Trailer For "Stranger Things" Season 4

"We will have the best spring break ever."

Over the past couple of weeks, Netflix has been teasing us with these short little peeks at the highly anticipated fourth season of Stranger Things.

Well, this morning we were gifted with yet ANOTHER trailer for the new season — but, this time, we finally get to see what Eleven and the Byers family are up to in California! Check it out:

Set to some truly ~groovy~ sounds, the teaser opens with shots of a very '80s-looking California, before settling in on Eleven. She's narrating a letter she's written to Mike, while enjoying some relaxing miniature painting:

Eleven with the caption "Today is day 185..."

Then, we see Will and his excellent bowl haircut, who also appears to be enjoying some relaxing painting time. Bob Ross would be proud:

Jonathan seems less relaxed, peepin' out of a very sunny (and very dusty) window, looking out for who knows what:

Eleven and Will head to their new school, where we see that Eleven is trying her best to fit in. While she insists in her letter to Mike that she's made "lots of friends," we see that, actually no Ellen, that's not the truth. Heck, this Miami Vice-lookin' bully even hurls a spitball at her:

Next, we see Mike reading her letter, and are once again reminded that these actors who we've loved since they were literal children are growing up SO FAST. I feel like a PROUD MAMA:

The teaser culminates in a montage of a lot of very creepy, very Stranger Things-y imagery, including these shots of Joyce looking at whatever the heck this doll is:

We also see this shot of Eleven being restrained by some very sus looking gentlemen in suits:

And the trailer ends with this STRAIGHT-UP EXPLOSION! Who is that standing in front of it? What's exploding?! This Netflix budget, y'all!

Well, there ya have it! We still have a million and one questions about the new season, but I guess we're just going to have to wait until it drops on Netflix in 2022!
