In this film, Helen Mirren takes on the role of Sarah Winchester, a grieving widow and heir to the Winchester rifle fortune, who is building a mansion under constant construction. While many believe Winchester is simply a woman gone mad with sorrow, she insists that the house is a necessary measure to imprison hundreds of vengeful spirits...so go see this one if you're sleeping too well at night, tbh.

    2. Fifty Shades Freed (Feb. 9)

Whether you love to hate or hate to love this film franchise, it's back and almost over. The third and final film in the saga that is Fifty Shades will explore Ana and Christian's married life, as well as the ever-looming presence of that jackass guy who assaulted her (aptly named "Jack"). Married sex, car chases, and pregnancy(?) are all promised from the trailers, but will the Greys live happily ever after???

    3. The 15:17 to Paris (Feb. 9)

This “based on a true story” Clint Eastwood film will be like nothing you’ve ever seen on screen because, for once, the heroes of the story are playing THEMSELVES. Recounting the events of the 2015 Thalys train attack (a terrorist attempt on a train headed to Paris), the three American heroes on board who helped to subdue the terrorist (Spencer Stone, Anthony Sadler, and Alek Skarlatos) appear in the film and retell their story. This one is sure to be moving and incredibly intense.

    4. Peter Rabbit (Feb. 9)

I mean, let's call it like it is: Peter Rabbit is kind of a dick. Still, I imagine with James Corden's voice, he'll be quite a bit more likable and we'll finally get to see the rivalry of the century, Peter Rabbit vs. Farmer McGregor, come to life on the screen with amazing effects and a truly top-notch voice cast (including Rose Byrne, Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Debicki, and Daisy Ridley).

    5. Black Panther (Feb. 16)

One of the most anticipated films of the year is FINALLY coming out this month. In case you were living under a rock, Black Panther is the origin story of T’Challa, who is returning home to Wakanda after the tragic events of Captain America: Civil War. Faced with becoming King and ruling his country, T’Challa must accept his role as the Black Panther and team up with special forces to save both Wakanda and the world from impending war. Also, THIS SOUNDTRACK THOUGH?!

A history lesson and adorable story wrapped into one, this stop-motion movie tells the tale of a young cave dweller and his adventure at the turn of the Stone Age. With an all-star voice cast including Eddie Redmayne, Tom Hiddleston, Maisie Williams, and Timothy Spall, this one is pretty much guaranteed to be an instant classic.

Asking the question "What would happen if the love of your life woke up every day in a different body," this is not your EVERYDAY love story (bu-dum-tss). Every Day is about two teenagers thrown into one hell of a scenario, and is sure to be a huge tearjerker, just in time for Valentine's Day!

    8. Annihilation (Feb. 23)

The film is based on the critically acclaimed 2014 best-selling novel by Jeff VanderMeer and follows a group of female scientists who are sent on an expedition to Area X — an unexplained, uninhabited place that has claimed many victims from previous expeditions. Plus, this one boasts an unbelievably talented cast, including Gina Rodriguez, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tessa Thompson, and, of course, Natalie Portman.

    9. Game Night (Feb. 23)

The story follows a group of friends during what they assume is their typical weekly game night, until the host tells them that they will not be able to decipher what is real and what is fake in the real-life game of Clue, right as he is brutally kidnapped. The group then goes on an adventure together to find their missing host, believing that everything they run into is part of the game...also Rachel McAdams is in it, so nothing else matters.

    10. Half Magic (Feb. 23)

In "movies we never even knew we needed but now can't live without" news, we have Heather Graham's directorial debut. This film seeks to explore female empowerment, and what that means for sex, friendship, and self-acceptance through supportive sisterhood. Also, if you watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine and have a HUGE crush on Rosa (don't we all), this movie is for you (and Angela from The Office is in it...like, just watch the trailer, seriously).
