From visionary director Paul Thomas Anderson, here we have another Oscar contender, starring human Oscar himself, Daniel Day-Lewis. The film follows the life of renowned dressmaker and infamous bachelor Reynolds Woodcock, who, alongside his sister, Cyril, is at the center of 1950s British fashion. Reynolds is more than content with his bachelor ways, until he falls for a strong-willed young woman who quickly becomes his muse. This one is said to be Day-Lewis's last performance, so if nothing else it is history in the making.
