So, I feel pretty confident saying that 2017 was Jordan Peele's year.
With the success of his film Get Out, Peele re-defined the horror genre in an original and realistic way, making the film throughly reminiscent of the ground-breaking series The Twilight Zone.
That being said, who better to reboot that iconic TV series than Peele himself?!
That's right! It was officially announced today that CBS All Access would be rebooting the classic sci fi series with Peele at the helm.
“Too many times this year it’s felt we were living in the Twilight Zone," joked Peele, "and I can’t think of a better moment to reintroduce it to modern audiences."
I truly cannot think of a better choice to take up Rod Serling's mantle, and cannot wait to see what Peele does with a modern take on the anthology series!
