"Avengers: Endgame" Is Being Re-Released In Theaters With New Footage And A Post-Credits Scene, And OMG

    Avengers (Re)Assemble!

Look, I'll cut to the chase — Avengers: Endgame is returning to theaters with brand new, never-before-seen footage, y'all.

The move appears to be an attempt to — once and for all — come for Avatar's metaphorical crown as the highest-grossing movie of all time.

Kevin Feige — Marvel Studios CEO and destroyer of nerd lives — confirmed the re-release this week to Comicbook.com, where he simply said: "We are doing that."

"I don't know if it's been announced," Feige said. "And I don't know how much [new footage]...but yeah, we're doing it next weekend."

NEXT. WEEKEND. EVERYONE. You know what that means:

Anyway, from my extensive research — and by that I mean my 12 second Google search — the new version of the film will be THREE HOURS AND EIGHT MINUTES LONG so, like, plan your pee breaks accordingly.

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL. Easily the most exciting part of this announcement is that this new cut will, in fact, HAVE A POST-CREDITS SCENE.

There was quite a bit of drama after the film's initial release, when lifelong fans sat through the (albeit, gorgeous) credits, only to discover there was nothing at the end, save for the good old fashion sound of some Iron Man hammering.

Naturally, fans are pretty excited for the re-release (even though most of us have already rewatched it 14,000,605 times).

    Seriously, though...Avatar. Is. QUAKING.

But we have to ask ourselves...are we REALLY emotionally stable enough to put ourselves through it all again?

Ready or not, the new cut of Avengers: Endgame will be hitting theaters next weekend...and this time, make sure to stay after the credits.
