Why do the simplest things have to be so friggen hard?

We all know how annoying it is to crop a picture that requires a certain pixel size. First of all, what the hell is a pixel? We all use it in conversations as if we know what we’re talking about. If I asked you to explain what a pixel does, where it lives, does it have kids, you wouldn’t be able to tell me JACK! I digress. The point is, a photo needs to be a certain size to fit in a thumbnail, to be a header or a profile pic. If you are one friggen pixel off, it won’t let you load it. The first time that red ERROR message pops up, you do the eye brow raise, stick your neck out a little bit and shrug. No problem right? All you have to do is go through the 92 apps on your device to find the photo. Once you find the picture, crop what’s necessary and upload. Done.

HAAA! Did you really think life was that easy? After about 7 hours of trying to upload this one picture, you’ve now pointed out at least 40 flaws, starved all day and reek of body odor. What started as a simple eye brow raise, transformed into a pixel possessed crop zombie. You are now leaning a centimeter away from the screen as beads of sweat drip on the pulsating vain in the middle of your forehead. As you get closer to the correct pixel, the shakier your index finger gets. What was supposed to be a simple, FUN, activity has turned into a testament of mankind. It has become a battle between you and THE MACHINE!

We have all been there. Even those creepy “calm people” can attest . At this point, the picture is cropped to your satisfaction. I know, because you would not stop to read this spiel, eat or sleep until you’ve proven victorious over the mighty pixel!
