Foxcatcher, the new film from Moneyball director Bennett Miller, isn't coming out until Nov. 14, but Sony Pictures Classics has just released an early trailer to show the world why this is a movie we'll be talking about come Oscar season.
The film, which premiered at Cannes to hefty critical praise in May, tells the true story of how paranoid schizophrenic millionaire John du Pont (Steve Carell) sponsored Olympic wrestlers Mark (Channing Tatum) and David Schultz (Mark Ruffalo), only to end up murdering the latter in 1996.
And it's Carell's performance as the disturbed du Pont that's attracted the most attention — it's like nothing the comedic actor's done before.
