32 Beauty Products You Probs Should've Given A Try A Long Time Ago

It's okay, we forgive you for not owning any of these products yet — here's your chance at redemption.

    1. Bio-Oil assists in fading scars, such as stretch marks and acne scars, as well as heals cracked and dry skin that needs some TLC. The best part? It won't clog your pores.

Promising review: "I noticed my skin started to get dry and tight after I took a shower, especially in the winter time. I used to use expensive creams like Clinique but it didn't seem like it was enough. I saw this at Costco at a very reasonable price compared to what I was paying at Macy's so I thought I'd try it out. Just a couple of drops and my face immediately felt soft and supple! This lasted throughout the day and two little drops covered my face and neck area. Gradually after a few months, friends and acquaintances would comment how pretty my skin was (I'm in my late forties and Native American). If you use more than two or three drops on your face and neck, you're using too much. One bottle lasted me six months or more. Costco no longer carries this and after making do with Aveeno facial moisturizer, it is no substitute to what Bio-Oil does for me." —Lynn La Pointe

    2. Tony Moly blackhead scrub stick exfoliates clogged pores and removes excess sebum. An easy way to incorporate this into your daily routine is to use it in the shower (especially when your pores are a bit more open from the steam)!

Promising review: "Here’s the thing. A scrub is never going to solve your blackhead issues long term. But there is truly no other product like this. It’s an amazing quick fix to get your pores unclogged and less noticeable, and once you’ve done that, slap on some retinol/salicylic acid with a moisturizer. Adorable packaging, unique product, and effective!" —Molly

    3. Revlon oil-absorbing roller replaces oil-blotting sheets with its magical oil-ridding properties. This lil' guy can remove shine with each and every roll AND the stone can be washed and added back into the holder to use time and time again.

Klur is a small business that specializes in clean, ethical, beauty products that work wonders and also look aesthetically pleasing on your vanity.

I am OBSESSED with this serum. It's lightweight and unlike other serums I've tried. Sometimes serums can be a bit oily or even too thick feeling but this one is *chef's kiss*. It's so refreshing when massaged into the skin and it's just the right consistency, it's not too thin and not too thick. This is well worth the money and I put it on every day before my moisturizer. I've noticed less breakouts on my skin and more of an overall even texture since using this.

    5. Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch minimizes the look of pimples by *satisfyingly* sucking all the gunk out of your breakouts (even under-the-skin zits) overnight. Pop these on before bed and wake up to breakouts being raised to the surface or eliminated entirely.

This truly worked at minimizing my pimples, sucking up the wound, and keeping big pimples from getting worse. It really does draw up the pus to the patch! I leave one on overnight and just slowly peel off and then wipe away any remaining pus. I even let my mom who was visiting try it on her pimple and she loved them, so I had to order more!" —Megan Meehan

Promising review: “This is the best lotion I have ever used! I got it as a birthday gift last year and have been repurchasing it ever since. It makes my skin feel super soft and moisturized, without leaving the greasy feeling I get from other lotions that I've tried. I can even use it on my hands without things slipping out of them (I get VERY sweaty hands so this is a miracle). I do think it has actually helped lighten my stretch marks a little bit as well! The smell is heavenly. I have no other words to describe it. It is a little strong though, so if you’re sensitive to fragrance then this may not be the best. However, it does last all day!” –jordant94

BuzzFeed editor Heather Braga is a fan:

"I'm a longtime fan of Jen Atkin and her brand Ouai (their wave spray is one of my holy-grail hair products), so it's no surprise upon receiving this I wanted to test it out right away. I'm a little hesitant to put a scrub in my hair so I'll get back to you on that, but as a body scrub this St. Bart's–inspired product is a 10/10. The description says it has notes of dragonfruit, tuberose, and orange blossom in it, but IMO it just smells like an expensive tropical vacation — which sounds amazing right about now. Unfortunately the closest I'm going to get to that is this delicious-smelling product. The texture is nice (not too rough) and lathered up really well while still doing a great job at exfoliating the dry skin off of my legs. It's also made with coconut oil that left my skin feeling extra smooth and nourished. Essentially, it's turned my post-workout shower into a spa-like retreat and I couldn't be happier."

I stopped wearing makeup to work, took certain foods out of my diet, and I tried so many skincare products to help bring my acne to a stop and nothing worked. It was really messing with my self-esteem to the point where I stopped putting makeup on and lost my passion for a moment. It wasn’t until I added this spray to my skincare routine that I found some relief. This is one of the two products that truly helped me. I see a major difference." —bwilliams18

I always do wash-and-gos, and I usually would only brush/comb my hair in the shower, style it once I was out, but sometimes if I waited a little longer to style it, my hair would get dry and frizzy. It would be almost impossible to get my curls defined without getting back in the shower. It has an amazing, thick texture and a lovely scent. I was blown away when I put this cream on my face. It felt so soothing and took away the redness! I can’t recommend this moisturizer enough to anyone who has sensitive skin, has a skin condition like eczema, or is like me and uses strong skincare products. Plus, it’s incredibly moisturizing. That being said, it is not one of those moisturizers that you use and it instantly soaks right into the skin. This cream does actually feel like a cream, but I wouldn’t say that it feels greasy. I will always have a big tub of this stuff around for sure. It really does work wonders on dry skin!" —ilamarie10

Promising review: "I had peeling, weak nails for years. Tried everything. A friend recommended a nail strengthener they saw on QVC. It was quite pricey and I wanted to make sure it was worth it so I read the reviews. One of the comments said just buy SolarOil. Since it was much more affordable than the QVC stuff, I tried it. I bought it in February. This size bottle lasted a bit more than a month religiously applying it two to three times a day. I was really seeing great improvement so I bought another bottle in late March. By May, all the peeling had grown out and my nails were getting stronger every day. I then bought the big 4-oz refill bottle because I never want to run out of it again! Cannot recommend this stuff enough!" —Diana
