Your $$$ won't be wasted on these.
I put my shoes through the wringer, and got to the point where I just couldn't take the look of dirty sneaks and destroyed boots any longer. Luckily, I discovered these boot wipes. They work on suede, rubber, fabric, and nubuck, meaning you can use them on pretty much everything in your wardrobe, which is awesome. They made my Blundstones look brand new and are great for removing scuff marks from sneakers. Basically, if your shoe collection is looking a little neglected, you could probably benefit from a pack of these.

I have a lot of plants, and many of them are demanding. Since I can admittedly be a bit of neglectful plant parent, I like to have a few secret weapons at my disposal that can bring my babies back to life when I've forgotten to water them for a few days (or weeks). This stuff does WONDERS. My monstera is absolutely obsessed with it and has since spawned several monstera babies thanks to its magic.

I'm one of those people who writes something down in a notebook and then completely forgets about it. That's why this little gadget is so handy. Once I finish writing something down, I can just scan the QR code and see my handwritten document on my phone. I use it for grocery lists and brainstorming but it would probably come in super handy for lecture notes and studying if you're in school because you can easily send them out to classmates. It comes with 36 reusable pages, a microfibre cloth, and an erasable pen.

This year has given me the gift of dry skin and I do not enjoy it (shocking, I know). I've tried a ton of different body lotions and most feel sticky or greasy but not this one. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized. Oh, and it smells vacation-y and wonderful but not sickly sweet or like fake fragrances.

This stuff works actually magic on stuck-on food and oil splatters. I've seriously never seen my burners look cleaner than they do after using this stuff, and I'm so happy it doesn't cost a fortune (but I'd buy it even if it did). It comes with a bottle of cleaning solution, a razor, and a scrubbing tool.

I am obsessed with my Nintendo Switch and became even more obsessed in it when I was stuck at home through various quarantines. My favourite game of all? Slay The Spire. I was introduced to it by a friend and turns out her knows me and my gaming habits better than anyone else because I've clocked over 1,000 hours on it. It's pretty simple, just a card-based, rougelike game, but since your deck is never the same and they monsters are ever-changing, you never know what will happen.

I like to treat my dog like the queen she is so when I take my vitamins, so does she. She LOVES these. I give them to her with her food and she goes straight for them before even touching her bougie kibble.

I have raved about Heartbeat Hot Sauce's pineapple and habanero flavours before (check out #11 on this list), but this one is new to me. I looooooove it. It's the perfect level of spice and the flavour is 10/10. I have discovered that it tastes great on mac 'n' cheese, tendies, and tofu scramble, but I'm pretty confident it would be delicious on any dish. Honestly, I would drink it with a straw.

I have recently become a big wine person. I was tired of drinking my vino out of whiskey glasses so I thought it was time to invest in some *actual* wine glasses. I had seen these on my TikTok feed a few times and had been obsessed with them, so into my cart they went. I love how big they are and that they aren't the traditional wine glass style. I also get a ton of compliments on them, which is always nice.

My boyfriend and I have really missed playing board games with our friends during quarantine. We found that most of our faves didn't really work with two people, so we were on a mission to find games that do. Splendor is one of them (and most definitely our favourite). It's a pretty simple concept, trade gems for cards, trying to get to fifteen points (which you earn through special points cards). It moves quickly and is super fun. We play it, like, twice a night right now.

I have a lot of power bars in my home. While they do come in handy, they aren't exactly aesthetically pleasing. I use these to mount my power bars to the back of my furniture so that nobody can see 'em. You can easily un-Velcro them when you want to unplug or plugin different devices.

This is my favourite quick-fix product for when I want to feel a little bit more put together, but don't want to go all out with my 52-step beauty routine. It also doesn't leave my hairs feeling crispy or flake off after a few hours of wear.

I get really dry lips in the winter and this stuff is a true lifesaver. It's pretty thick, but it gets the job done. I also love using it on my cuticles when they start fraying.

My living room is home to a lot of electronics, and the two regular sockets on the wall just weren't cutting it, so I bought this. I cannot tell you how handy it is. I can plug in my TV, gaming systems, and extension cords all at once (truly game-changing). I love that it has a little shelf on the top where my phone or iPad can chill while they charge, too, because now I don't have to worry about stepping on them.

Not to brag, but I probably eat more garlic than most people (you're welcome, boyfriend). Because I don't like spending hours impersonating Paulie in Good Fellas, finely shaving each clove of garlic with a razor blade, I bought a garlic press. This cuts prep time down significantly and I love that it punches the rind back out, so I don't have to struggle with cleaning it once I'm done.

My dog loves to run, but she gets hot real fast. I want her to enjoy her life and get in as many zooms as possible so I had to start carrying around a water bottle for her. I tried a few versions from Amazon Canada that had flip-out spouts and they were just not my jam. This one has a lil' bowl that unclips from the bottom so she can drink from it without me holding onto it. Also, because she isn't drinking from the spout, I can take a swig of water when I forget my own bottle so it's a win for the both of us.

I'm obsessed with my ice roller. Like, I have recommended this to so many people I have lost count. It's great for cooling down when it feels like a sauna outside, it helps wake me up in the morning, and it saves me when I have a migraine. Unlike jade and quartz rollers, the roll-y part is made of gel, so when you pop it in the freezer it actually gets cold and stays cold for a loooooong time. It's also a lot larger than those doodads, so you can cover larger parts of your body, like your thighs and stomach (not just your under-eye area). TL;DR: Everybody needs to buy one of these immediately.

I'm obsessed with doing online barre classes and a lot of them require core sliders. I thought I could get away with using dishtowels but these are so much more effective. I love that they can be used on all types of terrain and they glide like a dream so you won't have to worry about them getting stuck.

Yes, these are great for cooking food, but I actually purchased them to bake polymer clay earrings on. I love that they save me from scrubbing down my pans between baking and art projects. Of course, I give 'em a quick rinse, but they really make clean up a breeze.

I was only into drinking black coffee until I rediscovered the joys of foamy, caffeinated beverages on a recent Starbucks adventure. Since I don't like spending half of my paycheque on barista-brewed drinks, I invested in this device. It foams up my plant-based creamers like none other and saves me a ton of money. Oh, and I learned on TikTok that you can use it to make scrambled eggs, too!
Get it from Amazon Canada for $18.97 (originally $23.97). Available in three colours.
My boyfriend turned me onto this blend and I love it. It's rich, it's tasty, and it's roasted right here in Canada. I buy it in bulk and keep several bags in my freezer so I never run out and have to rely on weird instant coffee from the grocery store.
Get it from Amazon Canada for $9.99. Available in 15 roast flavours.
This baby will save you from getting down on your hands and knees to scrub down your toilet bowl because it does the work with every flush. Using it is simple: load the gel cartridge into the stamper and click the button to apply the gel sticker to your toilet bowl. It's actually really satisfying to use and I'm happy to report it works, too! It keeps my toilet smelling fresh and saves me from having to scrub away gross build-up on the bowl, meaning I have one less chore to do every week. Each pack comes with 24 stamps and each stamp lasts about 12 days.

I am not a big shorts gal. In fact, I usually hate them. I have ~thicc~ thighs so most stretchy bike shorts go see-through on me but not these. They're the perfect thickness and don't ride up and give me a camel toe (my worst nightmare). I've had these ones for two years and they haven't pilled or shown any signs of wear, which I find super impressive, especially since I wear them almost every day.
Get them from Amazon Canada for $25.99+. Available in ten colours/patterns and in sizes S—XL.
My bathroom is the opposite of palatial but my hair and skincare routine is what one would call extensive so, naturally, I needed more space to put my things. I was pretty confident my landlord wouldn't allow me to renovate (and I'm not rich) so I purchased this shower caddy and it has done wonders. Now I can keep all my shampoos, conditioners, and body products within reach and I don't even need to bend down to grab 'em. It also has little hooks where I can keep my razors, dry brush, and other accessories so they don't take up space on my countertop.

I recently went to a cottage with a few of my friends and indulged in a few adult beverages, and let me tell you, everyone loved these the morning after. They're a bit salty but the fruit taste masks most of that (plus, it makes me more aware that I'm getting electrolytes). Heck, they're so tasty, I'd probably snack on one even if I wasn't hungover. They come in a combo pack of grape, blue raspberry, cherry, and orange.

I started getting into bullet journaling this year but I didn't have any fun colours to play with. I got these because they seemed both cute and practical (I was right). I love that they're not those harsh neon shades that most highlighters come in. They also don't bleed through my pages so I don't waste any valuable journalling space.

I have finally gotten my skin under control but that doesn't mean the occasional pimple doesn't rock on up and ruin my day. When one or two decide to bless me with their presence, I pop these babies on. They suck the nasty stuff that lurks inside zits right out in a matter of hours. Not only are the results gross and satisfying to see when I peel them off but they don't leave behind the usual scabs I get from poking and prodding at active pimples with my nails.

Hello, my fellow clumsy people. Please allow me to introduce your new best friend, Gorilla Glue. This stuff is strong, meaning you can use it to fix broken flower pots, mend your gadgets, and use it to do general repairs. I recently used it to reapply a chunk of wood I took out of my desk while putting it together so I'm convinced it can really do anything.
Get it from Amazon Canada for $8.97.
My nails get super brittle for no good reason so I needed to find something to help save them before they all crack off and die. This stuff really does the trick. I saw results within a week and my nails are growing so long with its help. It's pricier than some nail treatments on Amazon but it's worth it.
Get it from Amazon Canada for $24.98.
I'm convinced that everyone has dropped their phone and shattered screen at least once. If it's happened to you, you are probably on a mission to never let it happen again (same). That's why I got these. I never used to be into screen protectors because I feel like they always get bubbles under them and that annoys me to no end. These go on flat and don't even look like they're there. Basically, they do their job and they do it well.
