Ready to be sweaty.
"This mask has the approval of a *ton* of runners and athletes in its reviews, but also runners IRL. I run in Central Park four days a week and I am constantly seeing other runners in this mask. I have two of them in my own run rotation, and I'm impressed not only by how well they stay in place and don't get over-sweaty and gross on long runs, but by how well they wash up and maintain their shape. The straps are super soft on your ears, too. I've gotten too used to straps chafing on longer runs that I was surprised by what a difference this made. I gifted one of these to my dad for Christmas, too, and it's his go-to for walks and errand running. It's just an overall easier mask to breathe in (while still maintaining a tight fit and keeping the people around you safe!)." —Emma Lord

"I've also been using this game as a way to supplement my trips to the gym. This may seem like a childish adventure from Nintendo, but JEEZ within moments I'm sweating my butt off. To play, you'll place a JoyCon into both the ring con and a leg strap so your movements are monitored. To move through each level you have to physically run in place and each time you 'battle' an enemy you have to do 15 reps of an exercise of your choosing. For example, each time I complete a squat the enemy receives a 'kick.' It's so fun I don't realize I'm working out until the game reminds me to take a break and have some water. It even monitors your heart rate for you. It's more intense than you'd expect!" —Heather Braga

One thing I have done a lot of in quarantine is work out. It helps me manage stress and puts me in a better headspace, but I can't do it without the help of a coach. Alo Moves is, hands down, one of the best programs I’ve tried (and I've tried a lot of programs). Callie Gulickson's classes are my absolute favourite and my boyfriend loves doing the more challenging yoga flow classes. I enjoy switching up my routine and trying new classes and because Alo Moves has hundreds, I rarely get bored.

"I sweat into these *a lot* last summer and they dried super quickly while I was hiking around Joshua Tree. I also wore them swimming for the same reason! And I wore these shorts while skateboarding when it was 100+ degrees outside, they helped keep me cool and free from being soaked in my own sweat. They hold up in the wash as well, I definitely put these through the wringer and recommend them." —Harper Hendrickson

These are made of thick fabric, meaning they don't slip and slide around while I'm jumping around in HIIT exercises. They're also super comfortable and the three resistance levels work perfectly for different types of moves (for example, I use the heavy band for squats and the light one for kickbacks). You can also use them to help with mobility, if your arms are feeling a bit stiff.

"My partner and I have been using these bands pretty consistently for over a year now, and I'm amazed by how well they've held up. They still look and feel brand new, despite being yanked and pulled on a billion times. The heavier bands are great for days when I want a little extra heat from my squats, and the lighter ones are helpful reminders to watch my form (especially my janky knees that love to go rogue on me from time to time)." —Brittany Barber

"Here's the main thing you need to know: the noise cancellation on the AirPods Pro is genuinely, alarmingly effective. The first time I put these on and toggled it into noise-cancelling mode it was like the whole world fell away. Like, walking down the street I felt like Anne Hathaway in an early 2010s rom-com because I genuinely could not hear one thing on a busy crowded New York City street except pop music in my ears. And while it's a full mood that I appreciate while I'm out walking, it's gone from 'wow, neat!' to 'oh, cool, I can't exist without these' when it comes to working from home. They're also super comfy and stay put — and I am saying that as someone who wears them pretty much all through my waking hours. I take them on long, absurdly sweaty runs and they don't budge." —Emma Lord

"This Gaiam mat will give you a lil' cushioning while you do barre movements or work on your core. You don't want to be sliding around or hurt your bod while exercising indoors." —Genevieve Scarano

"Instead of teeny-tiny spaghetti straps, this bra has supportive and comfortable ones that don't make me feel like I'm about to be sliced in half with dental floss. I was also pleasantly surprised by how high-rise the front was, given that at least once during my workout I need to bend over and I am not really keen on getting a face full of titty. And I worked out HARD. I burpee'd. I planked. I kicked up my knees. I did some mountain climbers and bridge lifts, and even incorporated a quick cardio blast somewhere in the middle. And my gals stayed. Put. No loose nipples. No underboob. No sliding straps." —Victoria Kuglin

"For some reason, I have, like, nine water bottles in my ever-growing collection — but this is the only one I use when I work out. I just love that I don't need to fumble with a lid every time I need a drink, and that I don't have to worry about knocking it over and spilling or breaking it (or have it make a horribly loud crashing sound, like all of my dramatic metal tumblers). I like this thing so much, I bought a second one that I always keep in the bottle cage on my bike. It's perfect because I can ride and grab a sip from it without taking both hands off of my handlebars (and fearing for my life)." —Brittany Barber

I love lifting heavy things, but my gym has been closed for over 365 days, so I had to find a way to make things work in my living room. I don't have the space (or funds) for a full barbell rack, so I thought a kettlebell was the right move. I love this one. It's comfortable to hold and, thanks to its soft shell, it doesn't damage my floors when I throw it down with a bit too much enthusiasm.

If there is one thing I love in this world it's a barre class. A lot of them call for pilates balls to help fire up your inner thighs when you're doing squats and bridges, so I purchased this lil' one. I'm obsessed. It's the exact same size of ball I used to use in my barre classes IRL, so it made transitioning to the at-home workouts a cinch. Oh, and my dog loves to bop it around, too (inconvenient for working out, but real cute).

I have to be honest with you, I was sleeping on Old Navy activewear. I'd heard so many great things, but I had a not-so-great experience last year when I tried to buy the cheapest workout clothes to get me through what I thought was going to be a two-week quarantine. But I gave the brand another chance, and I am SO glad I did. I got this bra a couple of months ago, and I wear the set all the time. The bra is super supportive, and I grab it when I'm about to do a HIIT or dance class. And the pattern is so cute too. This is a great option, especially if you're on a budget." —Abby Kass

I put off buying lightweight dumbells for so long because I thought they were boring, but they really do elevate exercises. I love using them during conditioning sessions to add a bit more oomph to easier movements. They're also great for days when I don't want to work with super-heavy kettlebells or dumbbells.

I have a love/hate relationship with protein powder. Of all the vegan ones I've tried, this one definitely reigns supreme. It doesn't have a weird, grainy texture and blends like a dream. It also doesn't leave my mouth feeling chalky, which is fantastic (and rare in the world of powdered protein).
Get it on Amazon Canada for $30.60. Available in three flavours and in a more protein-heavy blend.
I went hunting for massage guns and read, like, fifteen articles before landing on the Theragun Prime. I'm aware that this baby is like the Maserati of massage guns and costs a pretty penny, but it's totally worth it. It's super powerful and you can switch up the heads to really dig into the right places. I use it for recovery after workouts and recovery after working from home (computer chairs kill me, ok?), and it's made me feel a million times better.

Sorry shower people, there's nothing quite like soaking away your worries. I have been on the hunt for a bubble bath formula that doesn't fizzle out in, like, four minutes, and this one does the trick. It also smells better than every other bath product in my collection — seriously, I cannot get enough.
