Which Extinct "Game Of Thrones" House Would You Be In Based On Your Favorite Surviving House?

The Durrandons are loyal and persistent, just like the modern-day Baratheons. King Durran, or "Godsgrief", actually built Storm's End. During the War of Conquest, the last Durrandon, Argilac the Arrogant, was killed by Orys Baratheon, who married his daughter Argella. Durrandon blood and their words, "Ours is the Fury", still survive through the Baratheons but the Durrandon name is long gone.

The proud, ambitious, Lannister closely resembles this house, who rebelled against their king and inspired many to fight with them. House Blackfyre was founded by Daemon I. Blackfyre, the legitimized bastard of King Aegon IV Targaryen. They died out when Maelys "The Monstrous" Blackfyre was killed on the Stepstones trying to continue the several unsuccessful Blackfyre Rebellions in 260 AC.

The independent and clever Reynes are similar to the Martells. House Reyne originally became wealthy from gold and silver mines at their seat, Castamere. Their house was extinguished after the Reyne-Tarbeck rebellion. The Reynes hid in their mine after unsuccessful battles and offered to negotiate with the Lannisters. Instead they were sealed in and drowned, leading the the song, "The Rains of Castamere."

The Hoares were conquerors, just like the Targaryens. Under Qhored I Hoare, it is said that all of the western coast of Westeros where the sea could be smelt or heard was under Hoare control. When Aegon the Conqueror arrived and they refused to join, his dragon Balerion burned the newly finished Harrenhal and all of the Hoares except one, the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, whose death ended the line.

Both the Teagues and the Tyrells worked their way to the top. Torrence Teague fought for six years to be crowned Lord of the Trident at Maidenpool. House Teague met its end when Humphrey I Teague attempted to suppress worship of the old gods and other riverlands houses rebelled. All of the Teagues were killed in the Battle of Six Kings.

The Darklyns were proud and powerful like the Starks but met their downfall in defiance to the crown. Lady Serala of Myr convinced her husband, Lord Denys Darklyn, to take King Aerys Targaryen captive in their seat, the Dun Fort in Duskendale. He was eventually rescued by Ser Barristan Selmy of the Kingsguard and the Darklyns were all beheaded or burned alive, being succeeded by House Rykker.
