Megan Thee Stallion and her alter ego, Tina Snow, need no introduction.
After teasing fans with a countdown for her new song and music video — "Thot Shit" — throughout the last week, the time has finally arrived and WOW, she didn't hold back.
The video, which was written and directed by Aube Perrie, opens with a nameless US senator who spends his time writing misogynistic remarks in the comment section of Thee Stallion's music videos instead of, hmmm, I don't know, doing what American citizens actually pay him to do.
The video seems to be a direct shot at conservatives who have spent the last few months bashing both Megan and Cardi B for their sex-positive hit "WAP," which they performed at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.
Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion are what happens when children are raised without God and without a strong father figure. Their new "song" The #WAP (which i heard accidentally) made me want to pour holy water in my ears and I feel sorry for future girls if this is their role model!
After their viral Grammy performance, the FCC reported over 1,000 complaints for what some viewers called a borderline "pornographic" stunt. Pushback against what I found to be *chef's kiss* incredible choreography even made it to the legislature floor when US Representative Glenn Grothman prioritized calling the choreography and lyrics "inconsistent with basic decency."

Megan, however, gets the last word with "Thot Shit." In the video, she interrupts the senator's hypocritical ~fun~ with a phone call, saying: "The women that you're accidentally trying to step on are everybody that you depend on. They treat your diseases, they cook your meals, they haul your trash, they drive your ambulances, they guard you while you sleep — they control every part of your life. Do not fuck with them."
It's a great piece of advice, the senator quickly realizes, as the same women he generally referred to as "whores" begin showing up everywhere. They're police officers, trash handlers, doctors, restaurant waitresses, grocery store clerks, and even fellow government leaders.
It's not a Hottie cult, but rather a visual portrayal showing that all women, no matter who they are, can and should unapologetically embrace their bodies and sexuality without a single care of what anyone has to say about it. It's easier said than done, but if Thee Stallion can stand up to US senators while flawlessly bouncing on the world's sturdiest knees, who's to say that us Hotties can't stand up to random internet trolls?
